I would personally find it a little odd if the MC was the only one allowed to fuck people in the Sex Club.

My head canon is that MC is already corrupted from the get go from his childhood trauma with his mother being a pornstar. If anything, the Hana route is a route of "uncorruption" that's an attempt at healing MC. Maybe Hana will end up falling together with the MC into debauchery? Hana certainly seems the pure-hearted one and MC seems to be the corrupting force. MC in the plotline is pretty harsh towards Ian, but the more the game progresses the more they seem to become similar. It's almost hypocritical some of the judgements he makes towards his friend, especially since you're given the option to date both Mina/Hana at the same time (and MC is aware of this as well!!)
But I'll 100% agree this game has 0 NTR in it. A lot of the tension in the game is the decoupling of sex and love - even Hana and MC struggle to have sex/form a loving bond. Fuck, even in the latest update in the last scene they really only are bonded by their shared trauma of being in the club together.
Mina and Ian are together even though Ian clearly doesn't love her at all. They clearly fuck. Ian fucks without love. All of the carnations engage in fuckery with varying degrees of romanticism involved. Hell, even the closest thing to NTR (Fucking Mina) can't really be considered NTR. Ian doesn't give a flying fuck about Mina. He's just another hole for him to stick his cock in.
Felicia clearly has some feelings for the MC - she respects MC as a person who sees her for who she really is. I wouldn't be surprised if there ended up being a LI option for her down the road. That she also likes to fuck and is a kinky slut is coincidental to the budding romance she has with MC. Fucking is a tool for her to get what she wants.
Veronica isn't a character who couples love and sex in the first place. Love is love, sex is sex for her. You can fuck her even if she hates you.
Rosalind? This is the closest you will get to a "normal person" in the plot outside of Mina. MC is using her as a replacement surrogate for wanting to fuck his own mother is the theory I entertain in my head. What kind of fucked up person watches porn of their parents? I don't know if you will consider MC's mother being fucked in flashbacks being considered NTR, considering MC projects his own mother onto Rosalind... it's a heavily grey area.
Given the hints given by multiple characters (Darius's disappearance, Ian's warning, Chuck's warning etc) it wouldn't surprise me if some of the "bad ends" are tied to the MC getting too involved with the Carnations to stay professional.
Yes, but Ian would be incapable of remaining faithful to Mina merely due to his "duties" at the club. On top of which, he's unfaithful beyond the range of even that. Plus he's clearly got some Mommy issues and is far more emotionally attached to his parent's housekeeper than his alleged GF.
Basically. Ian is not emotionally invested enough in Mina for the MC fucking her to qualify as cucking him. He's only "dating" her because it fits his public image. Same deal with his "career" as a photographer.
You can tell Mina that she needs to break up with Ian before you'll do anything sexual with her.

My interpretation of a couple things Ian says is that Kat did some shit to him with the aphrodisiac that exacerbated his already extant Oedipal urges. At this point, him hooking up with Victoria would probably be the best thing for him.
As far as the MC and Kat go ... I'm along for the ride there. Should lead to some interesting choices later on. I suspect the major sticking point is going to be between Kat's denigration of the women at the club and the MC's desire (at least how I'm playing him) to not judge and treat people as well as he can given the situation. Kat thinks that her being a pimp makes her better than a whore. My MC recognises that he's not any "better" than the Carnations.
IMO, all versions of MC realize that there is not much difference between anybody in the club. From the top dog to the lowest whore, everyone's just making use of each other for money. He explicitly has a dialogue with Hana about how they are disgusted by the old men in the club... but yet their salaries are being paid by those same old men.
This is also hinted by the dom/sub relationship Dalia has with many of the men. They are powerful outside but inside the club they are Dalia's bitch. Chuck wants to bang the lady doctor, but he doesn't want to do so until he has proven himself better then her (by beating her at chess, of all things). Samson acts all tough, but he openly admits in the sauna scene with Nicolette that's he's bottom of the hierachy. He borderline has an obsession with denigrating Victoria, similar to how Isaak has an obsession with Lucy.
Most of the characters have their hands FORCED. Uncle Chuck even makes this a very big deal when he gives advice to Ian, telling him that he does not care what Ian does as long as he "chooses his own path". Putting aside the Carnations and their individual plights, the owners of the club aren't even in control of their own actions a lot of the time.
August is powerless with what's important to him (Hana's attitude to him/the club). Kath is constantly fighting for power as a woman in the Club. Chuck is the only one who seems to be in control of his own actions.
Everyone is merely searching for a reason to justify their degeneracy and debauchery. MC is tacitly aware of his own search for a reason - he is "helping" the Carnations. Or is he doing it for his own pleasure? Which is the coping mechanism?
Hello, sorry if this question has been answered before, but I also ran into this bug. How it plays out for me is on 6/13 during the Rosalind event I pick Fully Commit, I get the homework event tag, and then it goes to the scene with Killian and MC's Mom. When the phone rings it starts with the MC talking about assigning Rosalind some lewd homework but when Rosalind text messages the MC, I never get the picture that she is suppose to send and it instead begins a text conversation with Hana. To answer your question: are you playing the compressed version? Someone reported some fuckery last night(on the compressed version) where picking the Rosalind full deal scene before exhibition 2 skipped the event entirely and went to the Hana text message conversation. I couldn't replicate the issue on our version of Ch4Up1 and concluded it was due to that.
Is there a fix for this bug? I'm playing on the Ch4Up1 version for Windows from this thread.

I had this exact bug on Full Deal Rose saves when the update dropped. I believe it was because I was still using the previous version of the walkthrough mod with the latest update. It went away for me after a fresh reinstall of both the update and the updated walkthrough mod.
Cool, I'll give that a try and report back. I forgot to mention I was using the walkthrough mod as well, but I could have sworn I was using the updated version on the walkthrough mod. I've noticed it has some fixes on that thread post so I'll give them a try and see if either works. Thanks for the heads up.
Looks like the game works correctly now. Thanks again for the advice, BrockLanders, I did a clean install of the Ch4Up1 update and I installed the PaleCarnations-Ch4Up1-WT_ModGalleryUnlocker-v5-LunarMist-ipaqi-edit version of that WT mod and the bug is gone.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I think because Emma was added later was possibly a response to the criticism of everyone have a porn star rack considering she is encountered much later in the story. However, you can't go back and retrofit smaller tits to already established characters so this is the best we may end up getting. I'm fine with it considering I don't expect the thousands of stills and animations to be remade. Although who knows about future updates and whether or not Emma's story gets expanded upon or other new girls introduced have more tit diversity. Nah, even the other house girls that were designed after Emma ended up having huge tits. That's just what GIL and I prefer. To me, the perfect variety in AVN breast size ranges from giant tits to stupidly giant tits.
This is one of those criticisms that, while completely fair and understandable, falls into the category of aspects that we accept might dissuade some people from playing.
