I must say...I'm not tooo keen on the overall graphical style, but the facial expressions, especially of Mina, Hana and Rose are just top notch.

If only the MC wouldn't look like the biggest dork I have ever seen.

Yea, this HS male model is used a fair bit, and always strains my suspension of disbelief when he's portrayed as a hunk by writers. Then again, for me that's the same with most games where the male MC is supposed to be attractive. At least PC has the decency to not portray Edwin as some sort of adonis or gigachad when he obviously isn't.

Eh, I like to think we've done a good job in portraying Edwin's sex life as a matter of time, place, circumstance, and convenience (club, rebound with best friend's stilted lover, a near complete isolated Hana) rather than physical magnetism.

To be fair "fallen" is a very short form for some more complex relationships, but it is not like they're turned off by him either and there are some scenes when they compliment on the MC or tell him he is kinda good looking etc.

To be fair, more than half the cast are being paid to say that and then one of the others is his mom.

I mean he's also not ugly. He's in good shape and his face isn't all that radically different from other examples of guys in the game. He mainly just has his glasses and dorky haircut working against him.

Yeah, he is just...dorky, in large parts probably due to the glasses and the haircut...and the weird face he sometimes makes.

These women are, individually, each a combination of depressed, desperate, in over their head, bored, neglected, unseen, and/or abused. The nanosecond someone in their day-to-day life appears that treats them like a human being, they will gravitate to that light in their life to some degree. Looks have little to do with it and I would argue love is not the initial feeling they feel with Edwin when meeting him. If he was some hunky dude, I'm pretty sure his personality would be completely different and superficial considering his psychological affectations. Add in everything you've stated to support that plus these facts:

Edwin appears to have a mysterious amount of influence with management from the house girls' perspective.
Edwin is going to be a doctor.
Edwin has a gigantic hog and word got around.
Edwin has pornstar-level stamina and control with said giant hog.
Edwin will hold you after he wrangles you in ways you didn't know you needed, face-fucks you, and then holds you afterwards.

None of this was evident when they first saw him. He just seemed like a measured wallflower and was easily underestimated by everyone but Kathleen. Over time, as the girls get to know him, they learn what a decent guy he's trying to be in the most ironic matter possible... masochistic sex games lol

I agree. He's not some hunk. From the outside, he's just an average guy who takes care of himself. He's got layers, and the most appealing of them are well below the bad haircut and glasses.

I have read well over 100 novels by now and this one is still my favorite. Edwin is one of the reasons why.

Another point: When the MC is interrogating Felicia during exhibition week 2 and talks about his mom and how she never re-married and hardly dates, we actually get a shot of Ian making a weird facial expression for no apparent reason...

To a certain extend, there is a reason for Ian´s face. Viktoria was more a Mom for him than his real Mother ever was and she is the only woman currently in game he really respects. There are hints that Ian has a rather big, if hidden crush on Edwin´s mom.
Personally I can see one of the endings of PC being Ian becoming a History teacher/professor and in a relationship with Vicki.
