Good news everyone, work on Part 3 is officially underway!
Sounds pretty exciting! Numbers wise, our intrepid devs have turned out 133 statics and 5494 words in 5 days - an average of ~186 statics, 0.0 animations, and 7690 words per week. Here are the shiny, new charts:
Obviously GIL is going to have to work on that animation rate
, but otherwise we seem to be off to a good start. The real question is how big the update will be, and that could go a lot of different ways. I'm very curious to see how the new productivity goals will play out, even more interested in the big story developments, and especially interested to see what Veronica's path has in store. Lots to look forward to, even if it's too soon to guess on when we might finally see it.

Sorry I haven't been around as much lately; I finally bought a copy of Wrath of the Righteous to scratch my non-VN gaming itch, and the thing is massive. It's sucked up nearly all my free time, and I'm still not quite done. Still, I did manage to play the Public version of PC.
Overall, I think the changes to the ending scene were very well done. I didn't have a big issue with the original version; Edwin has consistently been portrayed as private and a bit temperamental no matter how we play him, so I could see why Abel's visit would provoke an unusually sharp response. But I think the new version smooths out some of the jarring transitions without sacrificing the MC's annoyance at the way Abel is acting. The additional details in Abel's still vague warning give us a little more to speculate on, too, which is appreciated.
My only complaint is that it feels like the least confrontational options should be gated by the 'Governor' trait; it rarely gets any attention and using it here would help highlight that the MC is unusually pissed off by the situation. Of course that would almost certainly require revising the scene even further to add some sort of bonus (since people will expect something more than a dialog change once game mechanics get involved), which is probably more trouble than it's worth. Just something to think about for next time, I suppose.

I don't know if it's specifically sexual, but I definitely find Veronica attractive. She has a lovely face. Her large body makes the game's consistently oversized breasts look a little less egregious on her. I really like the deliberate, rational approach she takes to the contest (even if her ultimate reasons for participating are blatantly irrational). Her interactions with the MC on the few occasions where they can hang out without his job overshadowing things have been a delight. Above all, though, I just appreciate her willingness to call Kathleen out on her bullshit; we can score +2 points with Veronica if we refuse to ogle the Carnations at the start of Week 1 - what's not to love?
Granted, Veronica's path has been more about friendship than romance or sex so far so it's entirely possible I'll be disappointed as we learn more. I'm very much not a fan of 'domination' by either party when it comes to sex, and Veronica seems to lean that way from what from the little we've seen. And I get the impression she's a much bigger fan of lesbianism than I am. There are definitely some potential issues here. But I like her enough I have to at least give it a try and see where her path leads.

Veronica is most direct/honest with MC, I can see them in a stip bar together discussing some girl as good buddies but hardly can imagine any romance.
Rosalind is not someone You can trust enough for real romance, I see no future in such relationships, she may somewhat like MC or feel attracted in sexual way but... it's more like prostitute/Best client relationship.

I played it again with the new update and the truth is that I didn't get tired of it, maybe because of my preferences I took the route of "GF Hana", but I am doubtful about how the relationships with the others will end, because to a certain point I understand that beyond girlfriend type relationships I could only think about hana and mina, but I have my doubts about how the author will progress with the relationships of the others, anyway very good update and I look forward to the next update.
But would it be wrong to have a relationship with Hana and then think about building a harem with the others? (Yes, it's a stupid question, but I wanted to express it).

For me, Veronica is last among the 3 Carnations, but that is because of some of her character traits, not her looks. For example, ruining your marriage in part for a gym that even her old trainer did not want to burden her with in the beginning, is a big hmmm? There is an unhealthy stubbornness in Veronica. You should not fold at the slightest wind blowing in your face, yes, but we got several strong hints that Veronica is overly stubborn to the point of not seeing when to think things over.
Being "good advice resistant" is not a good trait, neither in business nor in provate life.

If you find muscular women "ugly and weird", it's only your concern, not the rest of the world's. Plus, "such a bad idea to create her in the first place" is the epitome of the entitlement: "the game doesn't cater to my interest, so the authors made a mistake". Which is, frankly, childish. Different tastes exist, and that's all there is.
