Of all Carnations, Veronica is the most realityblind by a margin, she is way too stubborn! Unlike Feli and Rosi, who would gain some real win if they succeed, Veronica only would get a wound patch. She even acknowledges this that even a win at PC is nothing more than a temporary bandaid and still is competing! That is a worthy of a triple facepalm, considering that she could ditch the Gym and start anew with another own gym. Even Samson mentioned that Veronica does not need to be at PC and could start fresh.
In addition, Veronica also ruined her marriage for this frakking gym, which was already in dire straits before she took over, Samson simply added to the burden.
Veronica clearly is not dumb, but she behaves like an idiot on this! Yes, seeing that a dream comes to an end, is bitter and hard. But she is in the position to still live her dream with a new gym of her own. She has that option, but instead comes to PC, despite knowing it will simply stop the sinking for a little time, nothing more
Showing some spine and not folding at the first harsh wind is great, but a mule pales against the stubborness of Veronica! No thank you, stubbornness to this degree has the tendency to ruin relationships very quickly! I´ve seen something like this in real live with a friends couple, so no thank you when it comes to Veronica.
There are several reasons why I consider Hana, Felicia and Sophia as the best fits for our MC and in general great characters.
There is not much to be said about our resident goth girl drummer and Mafia heir Hana, we all know why she is a good option. On the outside, Felicia Ford is a hot slutty golddigger, but once you see her inside, you learn that she is an intelligent, creative and compassionate person. In fact from all the cast she is one of the nicest persons you can meet! e.g. she gives money for Rosi, if you ask her, no matter that Rosi is her competitor and her being at PC to gain the influence/money to save/reopen the school in her hometown is something noteworthy.
Even our socially challenged, hot, nerd genius, heir to van Doren´s medical empire Sophia Lundgren has more going for her than Veronica. She can really click with our fellow nerd MC on nerd-to-nerd base
, despite a big part was also a test for Edwin. I know that some members here say Sophia played a role, but considering we also learn over the game that Sophia is socially very ackward, blunt and even gives Kat the creeps, I truly doubt Sophia could play a role this convincingly.A big part of their chemistry and fitting together well must be real, not an act. I agree with the member who speculated that Sophia might be Edwin´s fitting female part between his angel-devil "mentors/mothers" Viktoria and Kat.
I sincerely hope we get a Sophia love/relationship path to get a nice, even half dozen LIs for the game.

Well, yeah, because Felicia still thinks this will be fun and Rosalind is a consummate manipulator. Veronica's just being honest, which is a big part of her appeal.
While I agree with you that Rosi is among the best manipulators in the PC cast, I disagree on your read on Feli. For our hedonist Felicia it is a bonis that parts(!) of the competition are fun for her, but that is only a bonus. She is there to gather independent influence/money/power to save the school of her hometown.
In addition, you and Felicia know each other already a bit when meeeting at PC. It is possible to already have made a good impression on Felicia by that time.

That's a very interesting topic. I already did a long ass analysis of Edwin's character, where I stated that he will never have a healthy sex and love life unless he fully comes to terms with his mother's porno career. He does a lot of mental gymnastics and compartmentalization in order to seperate Vicky's wholesome housewife image with the depraved slut he saw getting ganbanged on camera, when in fact they are the same person, two sides of Victoria that exist simultaneously. Now I don't blame Edwin for doing so, I'd say that's a pretty normal reaction to watching your mother getting glazed by strangers on camera. The problem arises when he joins the Club, as his subconsious biases and mommy issued may very well negatively affect his livelohood and safety.
Which brings us to the doe eyed MILF manipulator herself, Rose. I'd say her manipulations are entierely justified, as she's the only carnation who's in the most immidiate danger should she lose. Plus, Edwin doesn't deserve anything better for associating with people such as August and Chuck. As for my main point, I don't think Rose's some machevillain manipulator like some users portray her as, but it's Edwin who's extremely susceptible to Rose because of his astronomical mommy issues. He was under Rose's thrall as soon as he finds out that she's a single mother making a living on her back. His anger towards Rose when she attempts to manipulate him with sex is also very telling, because women like Rose (read Vicky) are supposed to be angelic and pure, and Rose broke out of the "nurturing mommy" box he put her in his mind.
My point is also supported by the fact that Rose's the LI Edwin seems the most attracted to from the get go, while he's being very ambiguous about the others until he gets to know them. His cruelty and depravity during the full deal route also shows the anger and disdain he has towards his mother, specifically her slutty porno side he so desperately wants to not exist. This is also supported by the flashback Edwin gets while making Rose lick his cum off the floor near the end of the update, where we see a cum and condom covered Vicky getting choked and roughly fucked, reduced to a bubbling mess. So it's not that Rose is some master manipulator, it'st that she checks all the boxes there are to have Edwin on her leash.
As for Felicia and Veronica, I don't have much to say. I'd say Veronica is the weakest of the 3 carnations, and the latest update did nothing to change my mind. She seems cool in the dude-bro kinda way, but she also comes off as very dim witted and naive. She got roped into the club sheerly due to her own stubborness and stupidity, and she seems well aware of that, judging by how defensive she is most of the time. Her amazon act is slowly crumbling as well, as she seems to be getting more rattled by the depths of depravity she sees at the club.
I have done a complete 180 on Felicia. I find her honesty very refreshing, and she has no illusions about who she is or where she's at. She seems to be very much in tune with her true self, almost like Kat is. I do wonder what her breaking point is, because I'm 100% sure that Kat will find some way to trully unsettle Felicia, despite her depraved and kinky tastes.

I didn't say she is my favorite, I said she might be the best written with all her conflicts and inner contradictions.
First: They don't do that due to different reasons. Felicia already knows Edwin a bit when they meet at the club and Rose agrees to whatever trying not to anger anybody to improve her chances of winning.
Also Veronica can change quiet a bit over the last 3 or so upgrades depending on your choices.

Yeah she has a shit attiutde at first, but can you blame her? If I had to do weird sex shit in front of a bunch of rich old dudes for a couple weeks in order to not be flat broke I'd be aggravated all the time too. Also 'outside people' is a bit of a stretch, she's only bitchy to the Carnation Club members (Katherine, Samson, etc.), she's actually pretty nice to the non-club members in the game (like when she was helping Mina at the gym). Also as takkatakka said, she becomes much nicer to you the more you interact with her, so maybe try going down her route for the sake of it and see if your opinion changes.

I really couldn't care less about this argument because I wasn't attracted to Veronica from the start, forget her personality or attitude. She isn't unbearable like she was near the start of the game, but even with her recent scenes I'm still not a Veronica fan.
Out of the PC girls, for me it's easily Rosalind>Felicia>Veronica. Rosalind is a MILF with some serious mommy energy, and yet she is very submissive when she wants to be, which I like. She also has the best and most logical reason to be at the club to begin with in my opinion.
Felicia is kind of middle of the road. She's extremely hot and has sex appeal through the roof. However, at the end of the day, she's a trophy wife who's a secret nympho who is at the club for a decent enough reason, but definitely not as logical or understandable as Rosalind's reason.
Veronica easily has the least understandable reason of the three, and is the least attractive of the three for me personally. She has improved personality/attitude wise, but still leaves me not as interested as the other characters.
However, all three of these ladies don't interest me as much as Mina and Hana who are the only two I truly care about. As a matter of fact, I think going forward I'm only going to follow Rosalina's path when it comes to the PC girls, can't be bothered with the others. I'll be taking a break with this game though, mainly just waiting to see if a throuple with Mina and Hana will be possible, that way I don't waste my time pursuing both if not. Then I can just make two separate saves for both. Though I'm holding out hope it will be possible, would easily bump this game up my list if so.

Veronica's no bullshit approach to even this situation is one of her appeals for my Edwin who already has to deal with a bunch of people who lie and hide their true intentions on a daily basis.
I think it could easily be both in Felicia's case. She enjoys the debauchery while also wanting the money/power to save her school.
While I also like the straightforward approach of Veronika or any such person, in her case getting to know her better showed me that Veronika is too stubborn for good. I already wrote about it, she ruined her marriage and is now in a depraved game for few winning, because she cannot see the "sunk cost fallacy" or any other solution even if directly before her.
The total facepalm moment is when you learn that she could start anew, that her dream does not have to die, but she is hellbent on saving a ship, which will sink no matter what.

I believe we need to take into account her emotional attachment to that specific gym because of her old mentor (forgot his name). The place is more than just the physical walls and roof to Veronica.
I don't begrudge the redhair for trying to save a place that is in all senses and purposes a "home" for her.
Also the same thing applies to Felicia and Rosalind.
With her shrewd and manipulative mind i am sure Felicia could find another way to save her school, hell i bet she could even manipulate her stupid husband (who couldn't notice she was cumming right under his noses) into doing it. But all her self steem issues need to be taken into account here.
