I got a question, I played this game about 2 years ago and deleted it until a next ep comes out, forgot to make saves, downloaded it again to my laptop thinking I should replay the routes of Mina Hana and Felicia right from the start (not a problem at all ); but I open it, click on ''continue'' and for some reason THERE IS saves of the routes of the 3 if them
so I start from a save called ''Mina'' and... the MC is called ''thm'', the random word I typed 2 years ago... and the saves are the ones I did
WTF?
do laptops keep files of every single thing you ever downloaded? even using a disk cleaner frequently? what I'm missing?
I'm on the twilight zone? should I look for hidden microphones on my house and will I end up like Darius?

It's a normal feature of Ren'Py. All Ren'Py games work that way. The save files are stored independently in two locations. One inside the game's installation directory, in subdirectory game/save. The other is in a standardized hidden subdirectory of the user's home directory. Where precisely that is, depends on the operating system. I am on Linux, so in my case the second copy of the Pale Carnations save files is located in the subdirectory .renpy/PaCaGame-1554919452 of my home directory, even though I installed the game itself on an external drive.
PS: As a result, you do not lose your save files on your local computer if you just delete the game itself. On the other hand, if you install the game on an external drive (may be a bit slow on a conventional drive or USB stick, but I found that a fast external SSD connected by USB C works very well), then you keep your saves even when alternating the computers you are using the drive with. I never tried it, but I expect you can even switch between different operating systems that way. You only need to actively preserve your saves with games installed on the internal drive, when changing or reinstalling your computer.

Hello all, gonna keep this one short because I’m writing this at 5 AM.
Ch4Up6 currently sits at 1,731 statics images, 43 animations, and 36,753 words.
That works out to 169 statics, 7 animations, and 3,680 words since our last report two weeks ago.
We just wrapped up a really nice scene with Hana (the 2nd of 3 total scenes she’ll get this update) and have moved onto the remaining few scenes left in Exhibition 3’s free roam. Little something-somethings for both the Kat and Lucy enjoyers.
Separately, that is.
And as you can see, we’re closing in on 2,000 images and we haven’t even started this bitch proper. Morale remains high, though. The scene we just put a stamp on absolutely floored me. GIL’s flow for the event is pure poetry in motion. So much so that sometimes I just idly open up the game and click through it in contentment.
By the way, did you guys know Hana is hot? Woo boy.

She is one of the 3 carnations. Those 3, Hana and Mina seem to be main LIs, with who you will be able to get some form of ending.
Felicia (34) can do MMF threesome with MC's best friend and MFF. She can lose competition and get bukkaked, there is implied sex with her husband and it is implied she sleeps around a lot. There is scene with using sex toys with other Carnations (if you count that as sex).
