hello everyone...my old saves were not compatible with the newest release...no big deal so I'm starting over...can some please explain the premise of this game...my first run through I was on a path with Hana/Mina and of the three girls competing I leaned towards Rosa...so I understand that this game is not a harem type game so lets say if I choose the Hana/Mina path again and say that I choose Rosa again what advantage is there choosing between the three girls that are competing? can the MC end up with one of the three? what advantage is there choosing one over the other? any help or opinion would be greatly appreciated

My take would be both Hana and Mina have same love and fuck buddy path.
I think Mina could be more kinky with her naughty list to do, but other than that, cant see much difference.
Oh, Hana could be more emotional with her family issues.

Its too early to say, even i cant decide, waiting on next version to make up my mind

So far I don't think there's really a way to "commit" to 1 of the 3 carnations, you can enjoy all of the content and scenes all 3 girls have to offer and as long as you choose correctly you wouldn't really miss any big stuff at all.

And to reply to Hungover00 too, yes, with every new update it feels like going 'Edwin of All-Girls' gets harder. About the Rosie thing, you can be open with her and tell her to stay as much as she wants, so far, she always ends up leaving but something might happen in future updates where she might come back, who knows.

We still don't know if the 3 carnations will be possible love interests for the long run, tho I'd say probably yes, It's almost guaranteed you can end up in a relationship with Hana or Mina. Also so far you don't really miss any content if you decide to stay as fuck buddies or go the GF path, only variations in the text during certain scenes.

I'm behind on things, but at Hana's show and with all of the branching and whatnot it feels like my 'Edwin of All-Girls' path is getting blocked off from more and more content. How many 'paths' are there in the meta? I thought I had done pretty well with Rosalind, but she didn't stick around at the apartment, but I don't know if that's temporary, or if I basically needed to basically commit an entire playthrough to her. I know I missed Veronica content last chapter(update?) for similar reasons.

With how many characters and combinations there are, I know there will be countless permutations, but how many core paths do the fans count? Should I have one for each Carnation, + Mina and Hana? Is there an 'asshole' path that's rewarding? How much content is gained/lost from committing to a girl, rather than being casual lovers or fuck-buddies?

First off, your "All Girls(Harem)" path will go out sooner or later. I and several other players mentioned it before that you will have to choose one special love interest. You can be friends and stay friends with others, but you have to choose one sweetheart.
Currently, if you keep stuff at e.g. fuckbuddies level, you can have fun with all girls. If you commit with e.g. Hana, you still can sleep with other girls, but it will be cheating and that´s a variable which counts and the bill will be served somday in the game.

Also you can have fun with all 3 Carnations, but it makes a difference already if you had a special date with one, say Felicia´s art exhibition and later being in her hideout. At the moment it is mostly roleplay, but it surely will influence gameplay more in coming updates.
This is just me, but I have 2 saves for Hana(GF and fuckbuddies), a save for each Carnation and Mina, further a save for Sophia.(I know that will likely not come to fruition, but you´ll never know)

Mr Bubu has updated his walkthrough: just grab the pdf and check it - you can see all the branching in it.

Rosalind is leaving anyway, it happens no matter what. If you made the right choices, you can tell her that she can stay if she feels the need to stay and she will remember (this is a future key choice).

How many path are in the game?

First of all, you can play all the paths, if you want - playing a path doesn't lock you out of another path - until this latest update...

The game itself has, and "recognised" 5 paths until now:

- Mina's path
- Hana's path
- Felicia's path
- Rosalind's path
- Veronica's path

Early in the game, either you enter a path or you get locked out of it permanently. Once you entered a path, you can step up and change your "status" relationship with a girl - check the stats menu and see.

Kathleen has no path, so I guess the whole story is "her path": this is only an educated guess of mine.

Anyway, this latest update just introduced a new path: Mina + Hana's path.

I finally found time to play this great game and I'm half way through. Enjoying it a lot so far, it is one of the best written stories that I found on this site so far.

However one thing bothers me taking my mind out of the immersion. Sorry if this topic has been discussed here previously. It is the line of Felicia.

I'm completely OK with the concept of a gold digger turned to a prize wife being extremely bored and secretly nursing her slutty nature. Something along the lines of the great classic film Belle de Jour by Luis Buñuel (though in that film the idea is much more complicated).

But doing it openly, in front of everybody, including some of the famous people of the city, with almost certain chance to gravely harm the husband's reputation and ruin everything that you have. That seems highly unplausible to me. Especially considering how secretive are normally the lives of the people from the top business elite.

I doubt that Felicia’s husband would even give the interview to somebody who is not very thoroughly checked. Felicia is scared that he sees that the MC passes her a sex toy. But here we are, next day she is openly and utterly degrading herself in front of cameras and a couple of dozen of witnesses.

I know that AVNs normally demand a high doze of suspension of disbelief. But this is too much even for this genre. I just cannot buy it. Pity, the game is almost perfect in every other aspect.

Ruining her husband's reputation is a feature, not a bug. But Felicia didn't really know about the political career side of things when she started, she just figured his competitors would be laughing up their sleeves at him being cuckolded+, while she got her rocks off both by the competition and him not knowing.

Very funny. Being accustomed to a lavish life style she will trade that to a life of poor unrecognized art expert or whatever. Apart of having a reputation of a dirty cheap whore. I would rather believe that in that case she'll end up as one of the Club's house girls being freeuse for everybody.

On the top of what I said before, Felicia is such a waste of a good character. It's essentially a BDSM game. In the beginning she looked like a very powerful, extremely beautiful, highly experienced woman that was treating the MC as her personal fuck toy. That could bring a lot of interesting dynamics, not necessarily the MC being a sub, but a power play similar to that between the MC and Kathleen or Veronica. Turning Felicia to a cheap submissive thrill seeking whore is the most disappointing part of the game so far.

She's a thrill seeker. People will do very stupid, very self destructive things to get their thrills. Her actions can rightfully be seen as unreasonable, and she's probably not as smart as she (and the audience) thinks she is, but she's not unreasonable narratively.
