We need to reach 1k pages somehowYea, even more considering it feels like we are just talking to a very stubborn person, it's a back and forth that just repeats itself and nothing comes out of this whole deal, I do hope it doesn't ruin his enjoyment of this game tho.
It is up to the player to steer Edwin from that kind of behavior, i m yet to play Edwin's evil path so for me i find good MC as conflicted between his tendencies and the the well being of his loved ones and not inconsistent its like a healing path with challenges that will depend on the player too if he will heal or notAnyone else think that playing the MC as a "good guy" is maybe way inconsistent with the character? After the Katherine scene in the new update, it really drives through that the MC has serious anger, sociopathic tendencies, and a serious sadistic streak (sexually and otherwise).
We know already that Katherine is a pure psychopath, with no ability to feel emotions other than vicariously, and is both a sexual sadist as well as being generally sadistic and malevolent. The fact that she sees that same tendencies in the MC is very telling, as she is a very perceptive person. If you choose to let it off the leash, it's clear that there is truth in this.
The character buries and masks a lot (his mom's past, which obsesses him, yet he can't even put it into words; his violent streak, which is how he befriended Ian; etc.). He likes to seem like a good guy, but is it self-delusional? Is it playing pretend to fit in?
To paraphrase a saying, the "good guys" are not those who lack bad impulses, but who choose not to indulge in them.Anyone else think that playing the MC as a "good guy" is maybe way inconsistent with the character? "A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a very, very dangerous man who has that under voluntary control." Don't remember who said this, but I find it to be true in a lot of situations. Being able to be cruel, but not be cruel is also a sign of a good man. The MC will be who you choose for him to be. I think this is what separates us from animals, not intelligence or opposable thumbs, but the ability to control and suppress our instincts, in order to function as a society. He likes to seem like a good guy, but is it self-delusional? Is it playing pretend to fit in?
This is set up by Edwin having doggy sex with Felicia in the club toilet during the prologue.View attachment 4427078
Where is trigger for this? I dont remember this option. Noticed it first now during Felicia+Mina scene before BJ.
mc "Who's your daddy?"
"As cheap and pornographic as it was, my arousal compelled me to latch onto Felicia's slip of the tongue, letting me utter what I'd normally find embarrassing and extremely corny."
fel "Y-you are?"
"Thwap!"
mc "WHO'S your daddy?"
fel "You are!"
Well that was a fast answer! This is set up by Edwin having sex with Felicia in the club toilet during the prologue.

Mind you, the only thing it changes is how Felicia refers to MC in a few places, so unless you're seriously into having MC referred to as "daddy" you aren't really missing out on anything without it.Well that was a fast answer!
Prologue, yea no shit i dont remember it, guess ill just change the variable, tnx.
I wished you could get her to call you that if you went apartment route and played truth or dare instead, cause I kind of like the whole daddy thing, but unfortunately it doesn't happen. This is set up by Edwin having doggy sex with Felicia in the club toilet during the prologue.

Having a hot, blond, gold digger, calling a younger MC daddy? Yes, im seriously into it.Mind you, the only thing it changes is how Felicia refers to MC in a few places, so unless you're seriously into having MC referred to as "daddy" you aren't really missing out on anything without it.
Wait, do you mean Kathleen? The club manager? And was there a new scene with her in this update? What was the scene? I don't know if I forgot it, missed it, or what, but it isn't ringing any bells.Anyone else think that playing the MC as a "good guy" is maybe way inconsistent with the character? Edwin gets a visit from Kat after Rose moves out of the apartment, if you've chosen to visit Kat after the exhibition instead of one of the girls.Wait, do you mean Kathleen? The club manager? And was there a new scene with her in this update? What was the scene? I don't know if I forgot it, missed it, or what, but it isn't ringing any bells.
Ah, gotcha. Unless I was working backwards to get a gallery scene I would never make that choice.Edwin gets a visit from Kat after Rose moves out of the apartment, if you've chosen to visit Kat after the exhibition instead of one of the girls.
oh ho ho, there is a scene...a very graphic sceneWait, do you mean Kathleen? The club manager? And was there a new scene with her in this update? What was the scene? I don't know if I forgot it, missed it, or what, but it isn't ringing any bells.
I recall an older scene where Kat tried to tease out Edwin's sadistic side. Too much S for my taste. Much prefer the softer dom stuff. So I can imagine him going back to her for a deeper talk could get very fucked up. Yikes. Yeah, I'm not feeding that wolf in Edwin, k'bye! /soh ho ho, there is a scene...a very graphic scene) I can't remember 100% the trigger, but I think it something related to

*cough* multimod *cough*Ah, gotcha. Unless I was working backwards to get a gallery scene I would never make that choice.
So the Edwin that wants to hang out with the sociopath is more fucked up than every other version of Edwin? Is that about the sum of things?
Yup, it's for the Edwin who gets to be Kat's willing sadist apprentice, getting in touch with his dark wants etc.So the Edwin that wants to hang out with the sociopath is more fucked up than every other version of Edwin? Is that about the sum of things?
Not so much a more fucked version, as it shows it to you more clearly. The fucked upness is still all in there.Ah, gotcha. Unless I was working backwards to get a gallery scene I would never make that choice.
