i am not asking them to spoil the ending but claiming that only ending Veronica is very likely to have is a fwb ending is pretty wild claim.

It's called "theorycrafting", not claiming I can see the future. Any reveal from the dev will spoil the planned story. One small reveal can kill lots of dramatic buildup. Besides, what else is there to do while we wait for new builds? Waifu wars and theories about plot developments.

Depending on your choices in the game, you get to have some great sex with Ronnie, but it's not her usual cuppa, if you know what I mean. I'm not even talking about the stuff on stage, of course. There's some nice sex at the gym.

I don't know if it's intentional, but to me it all felt very much like purely functional "you scratch my back and i'll do yours" deal to get rid of the excitement from the D/S aspect of the session, but with very little of actual sexual attraction on Veronica's part. Like, the only moment where Veronica seems to get really into it in the sense she actually sees Edwin as more than flesh dildo, is when he chooses options to behave "like a girl" with all the submission, moaning and stuff.

And then on their other outing she basically needs to be drunk out of her mind to fuck Edwin. Which, again, doesn't strike me as much of attraction outside of that state.

i do agree that she generally favors women but she says she doesn't mind if it's a man or women as long as the person is cute.

she has one of the best scenes in it.
besides even if we are just "theory crafting" it stands to reason that veronica would have at least one ending with the MC as more than "friends" considering she is one of the main LIs.

veronica doesn't seem to mind that she had sex with the MC , infact she is happy to talk with the MC afterwards nor does she blame him for taking advantage of her when she is drunk.

This game is so far beyond "porn conventions" even for an AVN. The characters and stakes are completely extreme, and it would not surprise me if any character dies, LI, MC, or otherwise. The club is beyond being a "brothel" or a "sex club", though it has both features. The extreme depravity of the patrons, and the effects on the staff, is only even hinted at up to now. I'm sure we'll plumb the depths of this fun shitshow before the end, but with the imminent coup, shit might get real, quickly.

August is a killer, Katherine probably isn't averse to dropping a body, and who knows how crazy Chuck can get. Sophia is absolutely capable of killing people. Warren is a violent psychopath. This is not a "porno". This is a morality play.

I'm not advocating anything. I'm pointing out that the game already subverts some expectations, therefore it's not out of the question for it to subvert even more of them.

I hope at the very least we can agree that it is not completely generic, so the argument that it for sure is going to slavishly follow all basic conventions without any chance for it doing its own thing, falls somewhat short?

well OBVIOUSLY mina is cuter but guess what the MC helped veronica during her darkest moment after the second event and that was a great bonding moment.
after that instance their bond has grown only stronger.
sure veronica will ALWAYS be bisexual but you can't deny that she definitely feels something for the MC after their great night together.
