Not all games have this setting, especially ones that use a custom screen, as is the case here. In the
.rpy file, the line that I changed was this:

Ah, yes then, that explains it. Just keep playing. I wouldn't pay any serious attention to order of scenes in the gallery, at least not until you're done with the update completely.

all this back and forth in the last few days made me replay some of the early segments of the game and i just noticed that Veronica has been reworked a lot
i gotta say the previous version of veronica looked a lot cuter , the newer version kind of makes her look a bit serious
reworked veronica still looks cute sometimes especially when she is smiling but for the most part she seems kind of sad and serious.
