I realize this isn't really the spirit of this comment, but this is partly my issue with the reveal that MC's first serious relationship ended because of a three way/throuple they had with Killian.

I feel like that adds a LOT of context that changes a lot about something like that. Before learning it, yeah it seems like Ian is just the biggest bro in the universe and MC is a wet blanket for refusing if they ever do (seriously, the emotional damage from turning down the rosalind threesome is a DEATH SENTENCE).

After learning it tho, it recontextualizes all of it, is Ian trying to make up for what happened by letting MC have a go at anyone of his girls? Is MC worried/bitter about involving Ian in any of his relationships because of what happened? How does that affect what they do with Mina? It seems like this is the reason they drifted apart, so it definitely had some impact on MC.

The counter-argument is: Killian will do that with any woman because he likes Edwin so much but Victoria is not just 'any woman' to him. She is the only woman important to him and he's spent years crafting up this Holy Mary image of her in his mind that completely shattered to pieces in one fell swoop last update. There's also a crescendo slowly building up with Victoria and her past creeping into the limelight one step at a time.
