The update deceptively seems short, but the truth is that it's just less scenes with the main 3 than normal, and no one on one time with them.

The birthday and Mina scenes definitely take up the starring role slots of the update for sure. Which is nice because I've been waiting for more development with Hana and Mina. I even like that they get along. They're the two girls who I would say are not corrupted by the club and that makes them special.

Your comment kinda made me wonder that if we go for the full club/sadism/corruption route, will it actually be possible to drag those two along in the corruption to the extent that maybe they will end up working there as well (and not as a barmaid)? That would be wicked, in both senses of the word Although I don't consider it unlikely that going the full corruption route will actually push those two away.

I disagree here, although it depends on what you mean by "what makes her tick". We could learn quite a lot about her, that she has some interesting hobbies (which for a girl is rare, usually it's (((Netflix))) and fashion nowadays not some niche sport which won't bring bucks to your life), has loving mother and brother AND father (whom she loves too), likes to travel, despite living a sheltered life she's not a prude (otherwise there wouldn't hang her half-naked photo in the centre of her room, I didn't buy her "I've only done this because my mother urged me to", although I found interesting that her mother didn't have problems with her daughter showing her tits or that her mother must have had many dicks inside her judging by how often she changed her partners, which might mean good things for MC). And that was only from the wall.

We could also learn that her mother pays rent for her and is wealthy enough to do that, that Mina doesn't want her to know Killian too soon since she would insist that Mina and him would get closer (this bit was actually one of the most interesting ones, it shows that she doesn't want to commit to Killian completely, although her kissing MC earlier made it rather obvious), that Mina isn't against experimenting when it comes to sex (her scenes with Hana made it rather obvious, the pass the ice cubes scene or Mina's questions about Hana's lesbian sex but also when MC told about his desires), although it shouldn't be surprising considering she has Killian for a boyfriend.

I guess I just mean that I don't see Mina in a fundamentally different way than I did before the update. We learned a lot about her and plenty of it was good stuff, but nothing we learned was unexpected or shed a new light on her previous actions. That's by no means a problem, but it's not the case for some of the other characters.

This level of attention to text details is almost unheard of in terms of porn history, quite an achievement here

My guess is yes. Always optional of course but this update made it clear the game will be posing moral dilemmas to MC. It's not only the Carnations who are being "corrupted" by the club but him as well. I got the feeling he is being groomed as the new "director" (or whatever title they use) by Kathleen.

I got that feeling too the way Kathleen was talking to him at the end of the update. She's definitely trying to groom him to take up the position for whenever she's ready to move on. And the way she rode him was definitely a strong selling point lmao

I'm going to hazard a guess you installed the (outdated) mod that's included in the opening post? If so, that would be the cause. You replaced the new script with the old one, which still has the call for the "thanks for playing" screen at that spot.

Wow! This game is awesome, in a weird way, but it's clear that the dev really studied the stuff(or at least it looks like) I mean the whole theme of the game is crazy (in a good way) it also made me think, what I would do in those situations. I mean the characters are sort of relatable. I started by hating Killian(because he is sort of a douche / not caring boyfriend) and now I feel bad into flirting with Mina and Hana at the same time(but also yay, Hana becomes MC's roommate XD)
I love and at the same time fear the relationship between MC and Kathleen but not because he may being groomed for being the next director(I mean also that, but it's not the first thing I think about) let me quote something(at the cost of sounding pretentious as hell):

"If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you"

I suck at explaining, so I'll try to keep it short but this whole thing? Is happening! MC is looking into an abyss and that abyss is looking into him...and MC is learning new things about himself, and how to exploit his knowledge(like how to "torture" Harper at the end of this update)...probably Kathleen is grooming MC but from MC's point of view, (since the beginning of the game) he got the chance of looking into this abyss and I don't think he can turn his head the other way without permanent changes in his personality/mentality.

Also, the Kathleen's speech about her and her sister, I think MC will be the perfect middle ground(thanks to the choices, if this was a kinetic novel I don't think it would be possible, unless the dev wants this outcome) between Kathleen and her sister, I mean even outside the competition MC is generally a nice hard-working guy and even the "evil choices" aren't that "evil" so yeah while I don't want to talk too much about MC's being groomed, I think Kathleen likes MC because he is a decent person, and she is showing him "the other side" of human's mind.

So yeah at the end, this game is one of my favourites so far. Thanks, Dev!

She has in-home care, with Hana also living with her.

That douche roommate line was written pre-initial release, before we had things better outlined and fleshed out in our heads. That will be the part that is retconned.

TD1900 Would you guys ever consider custom renders for higher tiered Patrons? I'm perfectly happy supporting as-is because the game is a work of art but I'd be lying if I didn't say I wish I could get some custom Hana renders lol. Thank you either way!

that happened to me(somehow i lost my save file and i had to re-do the whole game and used the mod to help myself through it)...and i re-downloaded the game, problem solved.

BaDIK is meh for me, every female character look like they put too much makeup (which for my liking is a major turn-off, and i don't understand why people like a girl who wears tons of makeup, it's no different from having someone wearing a mask in front of you, also in real life, makeup on the long run can really ruin your skin); Plot-wise that game is good, not my favourite but good.

I agree with the tons of makeup, I don't like it either but not the game. My favorite game Being a DIK, I love the characters and the MC very much. It's important to me that the MC isn't an idiot. A difficult feature to find in most games . And I've looked at your favorite games, I've played most of them.

Yeah, makeup is a major turn off(i said it already, sorry) with no exceptions so far, also BaDIK is a good game, like it is A.O.A Academy (which has the same graphical problem: characters with tons of makeup) but they're both good plot-wise and the personalities of the character are also good...just that damn makeup doesn't help me to enjoy those games(i've the same issues with silly games like Corruption which is made with Honey Select but the makeup there is ridiculous as hell)

at least with Honey Select the characters look "natural-ish"(for being plastic-looking XD) also the lips are not ballooned like the character decided for lips-surgery.

Damn! Look like another good game with lot of positive reviews from people, had to bookmark and download it to check now. But after look into the guide I must say I'm sweating a lot because so many choices and path to do, wonder if in the future we could have some more path and choices where we could have all the girls without leave anyone behind or have bad consequences?

I think the typical "harem ending" where you get all the chicks and everyone is happy is out of question since it usually means lazy/bad writing
