I enjoyed the update, and consider it worth the wait, BUT-

It was pretty frustrating to be locked out of 2 separate Veronica choices for not having the rapport I thought I'd been developing. I feel like those requirements are a tad high, and I don't really feel like replaying the entire game to get them.

Especially when I've been doing the legwork to do her quest, It just feels hollow to be locked out of concern towards her.

Ah, yeah. I went around and around on what number would be appropriate there. It can be hard to get a good feel of what is reasonably achievable in a blind play through (which is usually my aim for these things) given all the options in the game.

In what I felt was a reasonably pro-veronica save. I had 16 affection and 14 horniness.

Frustratingly, I can't salvage this at the end of the night either, because the friendship option is greyed out too.

It's not high at all. I had 39/16 with Vero and over 35 affection with the rest of the girls at the end of this update. Hana is maxed even.

On a more serious note, I feel Veronica is the kind of character most people will either completely ignore, or fully invest in. If the friendship angle's supposed to be part of her romantic plot line, then I think the threshold might be fine. If it's more for the purpose of keeping the MC more humane, the trigger point might be a bit too deep.

Yeah, I was nowhere near. I haven't been deliberately targeting affection in my playthrough, so I was 10 points or so off. Being below the threshold wasn't surprising, but I thought it seemed rather high. Certainly enough to raise an eyebrow.

As for the competition winner, I was surprised at how stacked the deck is in Rosalind's favour. Veronica can at most get 1 point during her performance, where I think Felicia can crack 6 and Rosalind 7 points. Noone said it had to be fair, but you really have to go out of your way to sink the others' chances for Veronica to have a shot.

Veronica gets 4 points by default and can score a +1 thanks to the player, for a total of 5. She also wins any ties. We made sure to give everyone a fair shake, but indeed, Hana's fixed vote tips the scales a bit.
