32 CGs is... not ok unless the game is positively tiny AND extremely old. The original JP game came out in 2017... but this doesn't really excuse the low quality unless you REALLY love that super-specific art-style in every way. Except even that doesn't work because there's 2 different artists. Also, this is not 32 CGs AND variations. This 32 CG images WITH the variations included... minimal as they are. As in, that's the absolute total of H images for this game.
As for the translation...
I saw someone a while back mention that the shitty translation is not the Dev's fault, but the Publisher's fault.
I will point out that, if you WANT to sell a product, it's YOUR job to make sure that the people you hire to do something about it... actually do what they say they're doing. Hiring an in-house translator? Hard and expensive for a small circle. Hiring some dude that knows English enough to read properly in addition to Japanese to do QA work? Not nearly as expensive. Hell, in this day and age, you can post parts of the text on social media asking for responses and someone's gonna tell you that the English is shite for free.
At which point you sue the Publisher for breach of contract.
Unless, of course, this is EXACTLY what they signed up for because the circle doesn't really care, especially when it comes to a game they made back in 2017. That may not seem that old, but in the hentai industry, it might as well be ancient history.
MTL is cheap. Full on translations? Not so much. The Publisher might be an ass, but the circle that hired them was equally lazy with their QA or intentionally malicious.

I think you might have it backwards. It's not that the circle wanted to publish this in English and hired a shitty publisher to do it. Rather, the shitty publisher (H-GAME-HENTAI) actively contacts small developers and offers to translate their old game to English and put it on Steam. It's their MO. From the circle's point of view they get a payout on a game nobody is no longer buying in Japanese, they don't have to do any work, and their game gets translated to English - everyone wins!
Except that the translation is complete MTL shit, but I doubt the circle even realizes that since their English is bad too.

Kukkoro Days (a great VN, actually) has a reverse isekai'd knight girl who looks saber-esque... Love Knight Purely Kiss is a hentai, once again blonde knight girl... Darkness to me seems like more of a counter to the trope, as it's generally also a personality thing. Honestly, it's just a facet of foreigner fetishization. Japanese hentai is rife with European knight women because a lot of people find the foreign hot, and a lot of people have a fetish for degrading that which stands for high morality, like knights or even maids to a degree.

well I was torn between whether or not I should play this game. Sexy MC, but poor MTL, which is something I can live with for a quick fap, but the absolute deal-breaker for me is the tactics style battle system XD
I know that is a weird line to draw for an h game, but I'm not a fan of tactics games, and hey, it's my line!
