Check the bottom left platform of the ship. On the top right / top left (idk the specific), you can find all monster and any materials that you want to find in PA1
Isn't there a note near the outer storage door that tells: "keycard hidden under a statue in casino". Check the said statue (it won't have the interaction mark, but just do it).
Oh those are craps tables in the Core section! Nothing about that section screamed recreation to me.

You can turn black souls 2 into an idle game so the grind is moot. I bounced off the story being harder to chase than the first game though so I ended up quiting the game tho lol
The area of your ship with the brain has a guide for where to find resources you've encountered before. If you haven't seen a resource or upgrade, then you probably need to progress the main story.
Hello, guys, can you tell me where to find aluminium? And can it be harvested? The terminal on the ship says that it can be found in galaxies 1 and 2, but as far as I'm aware, it was crates that don't respawn.
Also, how can I scan planets? For some reason, the option for that is greyed out. I need to do something on the ship first, don't I

It is just random in most of the resourcespots(including ore harvester you might place, though there will be upcomming story segments that have a lot more of it too, so not worth grinding a whole lot of it early on.
And scanning, you just can't yet, probably, need to craft a ship scanner, which unlocks later
Yeah, thanks. I figured it out. Aluminium you can get from ore deposits, but there is a catch: it can yield either aluminium or some other metal, and the result depends on the planet. Some planets gave mostly aluminium, others gave mostly other metals. What kind of metal exactly you get also depends on the planet.
The receipt for the ship scanner opens up after completing the main quest "Ventilation system", where you must go to Galaxy 4 to find spare parts.

Great game with good art actually. But since I’m a fan of incest, I cannot recommend this one. Becoming Futa at the Para Ark Station and unlocking Love Touch is too much of a grind for what you get. One CG for all the alien girls and it doesn’t even show your offspring - instead you see two human bodies in doggy position
