Heyyo nerds. Wanted to drop by and make it known that I'm not dead xD.

Some context as to what's going on.

As many of you know, my dad has been undergoing surgeries for his shoulder lately, he's had his 3rd surgery just last month around the 12th. So I've been helping him out as much as I can. Which ate up the first half of October.

As for the second half and up until now... I broke my foot. xD

As a few of you in the Discord know, I ended up rolling the bajeesus out of my ankle on Oct 7th. After waiting a couple of weeks to get in and see the orthopedist finally, we were worried I had torn my lisfranc ligament, which would've required surgery and fusing of the bone. Thankfully, after an MRI, it was revealed that I had actually not torn it and instead spiderweb fractured the base of my 3rd metatarsal. Furthermore, I managed to get damn lucky on it all and everything broke in place/didn't dislocate. So I've had practically no pain outside of the actual injury week. Just been having to wear a boot/crutches for a bit.

So, suffice it to say, October was pretty well a big ol dud for me in terms of getting content made, despite being home-bound. So, to that end, I'm looking at getting the next update out here on the 22nd, which would've been November's release date.

I apologize for the delay and thank those supportive during this time!

I've cratered dirtbikes into the ground at 60+ miles an hour and walked away with no injuries, but I broke my tibia hopping from the 3rd step to the ground while doing a stage production in Monterrey, Cali. Broke my wrist running backwards in a relay race as a counselor at a kid's summer camp at my church because my team was short a runner and that was my handicap for being a big kid.

Every serious injury I've ever received was from something absolutely not story worthy... All the cool shit I've done I made it out of unscathed. Have a huge scar on the inside of my left elbow, so bad that at basic the nurse thought maybe I'd been an IV drug user and fucked up my arm... nope, just was fencing with broken violin bows in the choir room during lunch my senior year and my buddy got me good.

I've walked into fights between two mastiffs and a malamute and pulled them off of each other without so much as a bite... trying to give ear meds to a cat shortly after adoption, I ended up needing emergency surgery to keep from losing my hand.

Engine failures while airborne in a combat zone, nbd made it home with no issues at all... got a huge scar on my shoulder from the bandage used to cover my small pox injection site, because I'm allergic to adhesive and a month+ of constant bandage wear fucked up my skin.

It's never the cool shit.

That's still being decided, honestly.

I have plans for introducing some characters as muted hybrids, similar to how MC/Jade is Neko's but clearly less so than Sylvie. I'm just not 100% sure which characters I wish to do that with yet. If Orra were to be a hybrid, it'd probably be of some species known for their stature. Giants, Minotaurs, etc. That's not to say that she'll ever really look like whatever species she's a hybrid of. She might obtain some characteristics that enhance her in some way but wouldn't fully transform. I really like her as she is now and wouldn't want to trade her out for something else entirely.

Orra herself was deployed into combat as well at one time though she's gotten extensive cosmetic surgery to remove the scars for her job.

Don't worry xD she'll be one of the primary characters in the game. So there'll be quite a bit of her. She's also got a full arc planned going off into her history and meeting the squad she served with.
