Yeah, a "window hide/show" function broke the saves just after MC/Jade went back up the stairs. Loading a save prior to this should fix it, for any that don't want to start a new game.
It's weird cause I've moved window hide/show functions before, and this one, I only moved 3-4 lines down from where it was originally. I honestly have no idea why it's having a fit.

One of the compressors hmu with a message, and we're talking about some stuff. They recommended I look at setting up label jumps in the game, and honestly, it's an amazing idea xD I'll make sure to get that sorted so that next time an issue like this arises, people can just skip closer back up to where they were before.

Sounds fun to me. Just make the game you want to make, and thanks for making this.
Language nerd note, "vibrate" is from "vibare" in latin, slowly over time "vibratio", its basically the same word for the last two thousand years. The vast majority of words Sylvie speaks are a LOT newer. I kind of like the quirk that there might be a word that throws her and needs explanation, but this was not a good pick to focus on, especially when she seems totally unfased by for example plastic, electric lighting, stainless steel, large clear glass windows and a CAR.

Finished this today and i must say that it is much better than what i thought! I like how the characters to each other in a more organic way, the dialogues are good and i was quite entertained.
In terms of looks, pretty much all of them are gorgeous with the exception of the small one( not my taste). Can't wait for things to progress better and some more action to happen!
The body tranformation/adjustment feature is... Honestly i have a REAL hard time imagining that actually working... Having to re-render the same scene to account for variations seems a lot of work and often not worth it imo.
Either way, keep up the good work dev! So far i like all the characters added, they are pretty nice and are adding to the story, the development and pace seems good as well. This is definitely a VN that i will be keeping an eye on and will eagerly wait for more updates!
Oh! Regarding content, personally i do like having a smaller MC, there is not a lot of those games that are actually finished... Futa on Futa is awesome too! Seems like the MC is kinda of femboy? That doesn't bother me one bit. Also saw the short videos shared on Twitter(or X?) and i like it! So far i have zero complaint's regarding content or character looks, sure i imagine that the renders will grow in quality as you get better at it.

It is an interesting concept and I like the visuals of the game so far, but it feels like it's just a prologue of a game and not so much a "version 1.X"
Thank you for pointing this out. Initial Google searches only pointed out that the first uses of the word were in the 1600s. I hadn't thought to really look into if it had a progenitor word. I'll make sure I take that into consideration next time.
As for Sylvie, she's roughly 1000yo and has been alone for roughly 600 of that. She's fairly quick and has a basic understanding of glass and metals, as she used them and lived with them in her previous house. Things are different, but not so different she can't put 2 and 2 together.
You could also reasonably assume that she and Jade conversed a fair bit in various scenarios, like them cooking dinner while MC was in the shower. I'm trying to find a balance between showing her lack of knowledge of new things without it just turning into her endlessly asking, "why?" every 5 seconds. So, most of her learning is being done in the background with only a few things focused on here and there to make for dialogue and to show the process is happening even if the player doesn't fully witness it.

To respond to a couple things thought, the expansion events won't really have a ton of variations. It's going to be 1 decision for each expansion event all the core girls and potentially optionals as well? TBD on them.
I originally wanted to do each of them modular, but that would've compounded choices to a degree of requiring hundreds of renders per scene xD def a no go. So yeah, the way I have planned now will only require 3-4 variants of each image and I'll only be phasing in the expansion events when I feel I have the expertise to reasonably handle the additional work load.
As for the fun little animations on Twitter/X, those are of my personal character and not MC, just to clarify
. My persona is a femboy, MC is just a regular male.
Choices and decisions will be coming, don't worry. I'm just working on getting the game to a solid point where MC's in a position where he's aware that he can fool around with other characters and not worry about messing up relationships. Currently, he wants to get serious with Jade, so he needs to show some commitment to her until he understands where she sits on the topic. Spoiler alert: she doesn't really care, so long as she gets her fair share of attention and is not left to the wayside.
As for the prologue, it wrapped up the moment they moved into the new house. That's where the story starts officially. As for versioning, I originally was using a v0.0.0.0 system to denote the stage of the game.

0-1 | Game is feature complete/done. 0 means it's still being developed.
0-X | Game "life stage" of sorts. Internally, this was 0 until my first release, at which point it went to 1.
0-X | Update number. Number gets a +1 any time there's a substantial release. IE not a hotfix.
0-X | Hotfix/patch number.
There was quite a bit of criticism in the early days, so I simplified it by just stripping the first 0 out and turning it into a v0.0.0 system. The only reason I chose the first 0 is because realistically it's going to be the only digit that won't change for probably the next 10 years. The others all have potential/guarantee to be adjusted depending on development.
I understand that my versioning system is unorthodox and not by the book, but you gotta understand that I'm unorthodox and didn't have a book to go by xD I have no prior background in game development or any computer-related developy stuff. I never went to any classes for any of this and was never taught "proper" versioning. I started with a couple youtube videos and a goal. So I'm just using what makes sense in my brain.
I wouldn't be opposed to swapping back to the v#.#.#.# system if people think that it'd provide a clearer depiction of where the game is at currently. So, call to action I suppose. If you care, speak up and lemme know xD.
