For those who have black screen on some scenes, i have a solution. It seems that only scenes with audio goes black, so you need to have audio input (headphones or speakerphones) jacked in. I know that it sounds stupid, but it works, I tested it.

cannot view videos in game. Using Wine but it's a javafx problem because I also ran .jar file which also didn't ran the video.

It's an known audio problem (AAC is an audio format) that happens sometimes to some people. Possible solution is to install Windows Media Player or a codec pack that supports AAC like K-lite codec pack. Don't know if any of those work with Wine.

What do you mean by "stopped"? This game is completed, there's nothing else coming that is not already in the game package.

There is a long pause in the Avery and Jolee progression that, I think, is tied to Kylie's progression. Which ties to Kyra's. Which both tie to Jane...

I figured what I did wrong. I had items to buy. Had bought them, but think I lost my memory, and had to reload a save, probably before I bought them. Doh.
I used to always say 'If all else fails, check the mall.' But I forgot this time. Sorry, and gj finding the progression lock.
