I'm doing this as a test to see if there is an interest. The reason I set the price to 8 coffees, $24, instead of $21 or $18 is that that's around the amount many patrons will pay on my Patreon, after VAT/taxes (some actually pay around $25). I don't want to drive business away from Patreon, or make my patrons feel bad that they pay more.

If you are referring to the change from 5% to 8%, that only applies for Patreon accounts created after that change was implemented. I was able to create my account just days before that, so I'm on the founders rates, which is the old one, i.e. 5%. That's for the platform fee.
Then there is Patreon's payment processing fee, which seems to be around the same, for me anyway with founders rate.
So total fee of around 10%. Not sure how that compares to those with the newer fees.

Or are you referring to the sales tax/VAT?

I might be wrong, but the way it was explained to me all those years ago was that it scaled to how much you were subbed for. People were particularly outraged because it gouged people at around the $5 range, for how much I don't remember.
Then again it might have just been sales tax, I could be wrong. That $24 on BMAC ended up costing me $33...

I got 21,20 (which paypal will keep until you confirm receiving the goods btw):
-1,60 paypal fee and -1,20 partner commission (which should be the 5% BMAC say they charge on transactions).
So where did the rest go to? When I have bought coffees I got charged the amount the coffees cost. I thought that was how it worked for everyone.

The name of the aunt does not change correctly. I changed the name, saved and reloaded - and in dialogs and stuff the name is correct, but at the house the name is the default (Julia) and I named the doc Julia ... so that is confusing now

Edit: Bugfix will be added to the next build on Patreon. But unfortunately Trasher2018 there is no way you can fix it manually.
