why not combine paradise 2 and 3 together in a huge spankass update?Yeah, you never get more eyeballs on a game than when you do during the steam launch. Makes sense to try to convert a few of those to wishlists for the next one.

The problem is that Patreon funding has made people think that working on the same damned porn game for 10 years is normal. It really isn't. You finish a game, evaluate what went right and what went wrong, learn from your mistakes and move on.

Well now that I have played both paradise Lust and Paradise Lust 2 here is my experience. Paradise Lust 2 is a good game however if you played the previous version then you feel that the sequel is more like a mod of the original game than a new game itself, this is because some elements and scenarios of the first game are still there where they should have been removed like the fishing, resource gathering and the access of the bedrooms of Tori, Karen, Reyna, Misun. Some other elements like the repeatable sex scenes are missing. The story feels a little rushed, even the relationship build-up feels a little meh in some characters. I now see why Karen is more of an npc here, it is because of the story and the character Scarlett (new thorn in our ass). What is also a little conserning is that in the first game all girls had at least 3 solo scenes and a maximum of 6 (after updates) but in this game each girl has at least 1 scene and the maximum is 4 and some of those girls are not even on the island through the whole game and all sex scenes in the new game cannot be repeated in game, only in the spank bank. In short the game is good as a stand alone but lacks as a sequel (waterdowned version of the first game) I wish you success in the third game and if it possible a 4 game as I see that the third game we will be back on the same Island, but as an advise try creating the Island that Erick and Karen have both been in charge just to have more exploration and if a mecanich from the first game is brought back then it will need to have more than one or two uses and then it is forgotten

I have not but that does not provides an excuse to develop a sequel with little identity and quality like the first game. I am sorry but it is how this sequel feels if you already played the first game. Mecanichs like fishing, resource gathering are almost not needed and the management system could be a little better (like the game park after dark)

Opinions. For me "Park after dark" would be much better if it focused more on writing instead on this management system which is far more grindy than anything in PL. It also has terrible game loop ----> you need to finish one girl entirely before you can move to next which cause many narrative problems. At least at the beginning.
you admit to not having read the thread but go on to compare this to another game? I will explain it to you since you are too lazy to read the thread. the 1st PL game, the devs admitted they were trying to find their footing which is why the game went on for so long with the various things like collectibles. the 2nd game, was shorter because they were refining what they wanted the game to be. those are the reasons for the different lengths of the games. also don't come into the thread talking about games from different devs as comments like that violate the rules and tend to get deleted

Usually we do updates in the ~1 hr region. We'll see once I get a chance to play it, this one looks a little bigger.
Having said that some of them get ginormous; the one going out on the beta branch for Sinners Landing today was 80 pages of text, and took us 3 hrs to walk through with the full team.
My point still stands and this is even more serious as this also proyects and issue in both world building and story telling. For example if the main goal of PL2 was to make sure that the island was ready to have customers how is it that we have so much income as the only people that are in the island are employees, two guests from the first island an embassador and an influencef that was also contracted by the first island and if the island was already open for business why is it that we have so little guest. A good way could be to have girls moving between islands using all the rooms that are empty. This brings another point if Olga is working in the hotel as a receptionist why does she still uses her old house from the first game instead of Reyna's room that is closer to the resort. Also there is even an entire building in a storyline with Rachel that after it is build you cannot do anything with it. Even the gym was more used than that building. I understand this is a porn game but if they could make a good story and world bulding in the first one why does the second feels lacking. I really hope they can work on these points for the third game as for the second I will just wait for the following updates to see if it makes the game more enjoyable.

I have been championing these guys for a while, Olga has been in my signature forever but I can't help and feel dissapointed at how short this was compared to first game. This felt like Overwatch 2 all over again. In the sense that this is barely an expasion let alone a sequel. Hell Olga just got 1 scene you gotta be kidding me.

Olga will get another scene in one of the extensions. I also hope she will get some in PL3.

I do agree with this and I also read about the "supposed" differences. Still I feel the 1 PL was an overall nicer storyline and feel. Even more so I did not finish PL 2 as I'm all in Talk to Scarlet some other time, she's annoying af. Hugh bummer as PL 1 -was amazing. Complete Package.
Not saying Dev's did a bad job, everybody has other preferences, and especially with Scarlet hitting the nerve of being a Bitch - I'm just done. Cheers

What killed PL2 for me was when Scarlett showed MC some tits and ass, and he forgot all about how she had hurt several of his real friends, and just, like the spineless simp he is, gives her what she wants.
When she arrived all bitchy and better-than-all, there should have been an option to put her in a dingy and point towards Eriks island and tell her to start rowing.
