It's amazing how characters who are 'somehow distinct' can evoke such strong emotions. Some people hate Karen and Scarlett, others love them (To me, Karen is funny and, to a large extent, saves PL1, while Scarlett has the best character development in PL1/PL2). Meanwhile, characters who are more standard, not to say bland, are completely overlooked. For example, I don't remember a SINGLE post about Jenny, either positive or negative.
