It's easy to gain affection for either heroine. Healing them during fights gains you affection, choosing to save/help them when you come across an event gains affection, and hanging out with either one at the end of day also gains affection.
You can easily farm affection by either having everyone block and you spam healing in a fight, or repeating a rescue event and choosing to help them each time.
for some reason my game got stuck once I finished the investigation for the royal palace quest, elk didn't show up in the morning, so now I can't go anywhere, anyone has had a similar situation or knows a fix?
So I skipped most of the dialogue for my first playthrough and just tried to get the girls fucked by other people as quick as possible, just to see how long it takes. The main ways the girls seem to gain affection for MC is for him to heal them in combat, save them from traps, and take them with him to Earth. For the other characters, Elk gains affection if you finish a fight with the girl in a Defeated state (out of HP and being molested by the monsters), if you trigger a trap and don't save them, and with whichever girl you leave behind when you go to Earth. Renji gains affection during the prologue (when you're waiting for your guild membership to finalize) if you agree to let the girl accompany him and go off on your own. Once you're an adventurer, he apparently loses interest unless the girl you bring is your lover (he favors stealing girls from their boyfriends). The girls will become your lover if their affection with you is high enough at the end of the prologue; I don't know if there's a Lewdness requirement or not, I left them to get molested by slimes for a while to level that up a lot. In my case, I always went to Earth with Luna (except for when I had to go with Azusa to pick up her basketball shoes) and always left her with Renji, but as soon as the prologue was over she immediately hopped in bed with MC, after which point I left her in Renji's care (he knocked her up and I got a game over). For Azusa, I get her affection with Elk high and left her behind as much as possible, and I think around day 3 after the prologue they started fucking.
As for counting as NTR, in some cases MC simply being interested in a girl is considered enough for her getting seduced by someone else to count as NTR. I think both girls actually already have a bit of a crush on MC at the beginning of the game (and obviously he's very attracted to them as well), so that can count as well. The fact Renji will only actually fuck them if they're in a relationship with MC means at least his content is NTR; Elk can have a more normal relationship if you don't both pursue the same girl, but if you do I doubt he'll have qualms about cucking you.
In Key Items you should have a few items - a mirror for each of them and a gem (I think it's called Gem of Memories or something). Using the gem shows you their sexual stats as well as their affection levels of each of the three characters. If you don't have those items, I think you should get them right after doing the tutorial dungeon (which you'll be doing a few times during the prologue anyway).
Here we are after another pick out of my backlog. I've been curious about this dev's work for a while now, though admittedly, I'm more curious about the 1st game than the second one... but here we are... Luckily, there's no relation between the games aside for the fact that there's overpowered succubi in both games. As such, there's no particular issue with playing this game first, especially since, but all indicators, this is the worse of the two games, at least in overall terms.
Before anything else. I'll talk about the TL. The TL, though done with Dazed's tool, is not at Dazed's usual standards. The "mini" behind the 4.1 should explain part of it. The other part is because the game is not exactly friendly towards MTL of any kind. The back and forth between worlds that's part of this game flow causes a lot of confusion for the poor LLM and there's no real way to fix that without editing... and no one's been interested in doing any of that. There's plenty of "your boyfriend" instead of "my boyfriend" and other such things in the scenes too. It's not the worst I've ever seen, but not the best either even by -translated with LLMs- standards.
How much this matters is debatable, as always. It can be fairly distracting in some H-scenes, but it's of relatively low impact in the story stuff, particularly since it's fairly bare-bones and there's not THAT many particularly long conversations and whatnot. Most of those are near the end of the game, like the talk with the Demon Lord and Epilogue of sorts.
Personally, I'd like a better TL (when don't I when talking about LLM TLs?), but I'll be amazed if that ever happens...
Now, to talk about the game itself. Quite frankly, the game is... a very mixed bag in more ways than one. The big problem is that the dev got too ambitious and tried to do too many things at the same time, and as a result, they didn't do a good job with most of the things they attempted, except perhaps the H-scenes themselves, but more on that later.
The game has a lot of moving parts, and because of that, most of those parts didn't get enough attention. It's supposed to be, at its core, a NTR game, but the dev decided to have 2 girls as potential LIs for the MC, and because of that, the needed level of interactions to make it all compelling is very high... and the dev just didn't do a good job of covering that, especially since the option to date both at once exists too. Then they added 2 bulls and also didn't do a good job with covering all the potential interactions resulting from that. Then they decided to add defeat rape stuff, in-combat molestation and lewd part-time jobs, and that stuff is pretty bare-bones and doesn't properly interact with everything else either. Add in the fact that there's some lovey-dovey stuff for the MC too, and you have a soup of mediocrity that is spiced only by the quality of the art (which is obviously subjective) and the quality of the H-scenes (which is also subjective).
It's like the dev tried to cast a wide net to catch as wide of an audience as possible, and the end result is one that quite frankly, is unlikely to satisfy anyone.
As a specific example, you can unlock part time jobs for the girls, and all of them are, of course, lewd. However, there's no proper progression to any of them. There's only 2 variations of the events for each job, and the break point is just the lewdness value. If the girl is under 80 lewdness, she refuses to cheat, but she'll moan due to the molestation. If she's over 80 lewdness, she'll instantly cheat without any sort of hesitation or supporting event or anything. It doesn't matter if she did or did not cheat before, it doesn't matter if she does or doesn't have sex with MC every day, it doesn't matter if she's hooked up with one of the bulls at all or not. Nope. She'll just be all over the customer's or whatever dick and of course, said dick will always better than MC's dick. On top of that, if she cheats even one time, then the girl that cheated absolutely refuses to have sex with the MC again in the evening slot. It's not even like other games of this sort where at least she has sex but isn't satisfied with it or whatnot, just plain up cut-off. I didn't test if the bulls have the same effect, but the part-time jobs definitely do, at least the 2 with penetration.
On top of that? Well, the cheating of this type doesn't matter. You can have the girl(s) jump on stranger dicks every single day when it's possible, and it has no effect on the ending. There's no "ran off to be slut" or whatever ending. There's no variation where the girl(s) are frustrated because the MC can't satisfy in bed. There's nothing whatsoever. You still get the good ending as long one of the bulls isn't ahead. It's really stupid.
It's even more stupid when taking into account that magic is a whole thing in this setting, Love has actual power (the girls get 2 to all stats whenever they fuck with the MC if he's their lover), healing magic can allow for infinite stamina and the MC is an Alchemist that can, among other things, make stat boosting items and literally create matter from mana (Azusa's initial equipment). So of course, the fact that the MC can bend the laws of physics over his knees doesn't matter when it comes to his prowess in bed because the dev couldn't be assed to have coherent world-building... Hell, why do the girls have healing spells in the Harem scenes, when they don't have any healing magic whatsoever as skills?
Like. Ugh. It's just so bad...
The thing is, it gets worse. The MC can just date 1 of the girls instead of both of them... so, what happens with the 2nd girl, you might wonder? Well. First of all, about only half of the events with the 1st bull, the Hero Elk, can trigger with her. As far as I can tell, the ones on the Quests can't, but I haven't tested it thoroughly. What's weird is that for some of them the MC still acts as if the second girl is his girlfriend and does the whole "No way it's a dream! It's just a dream!" thing. (MC's really annoying with that tbh). The 2nd girl does not officially become Elk's lover for whatever reason. On top of that, the 2nd bull, the gyaru-oh fuck-boy, just doesn't show up anymore and she never offers to act separately while in the Modern World if you take her there. Why? Because lazy coding, obviously, there's no actual in-world reason... it's not like the dude can magically know if she's dating or not, and even if he did, she could be dating Elk. Lastly, you can't open the part-time jobs for the girl the MC isn't dating, because everything about those is tied to the girls dating the MC and of course we can't have them bitches cheating on the Hero now can we?
I haven't tested what happens when defeated by monsters, but at this rate, I expect that only the girl that the MC is dating can be raped on defeat and the other one is always auto-saved or something... I dunno. Maybe I'll check just for my curiosity.
Basically, everything is geared around the girl(s) dating the MC, but it's poorly implemented and isn't coded to really take in all the variations that it should with all these moving parts. The game would have been genuinely a lot better if there was only one girl involved, which would have cut down on all those permutations that aren't accounted for. Would've saved the game from stupid world-building too, because apparently, polygamy is ok in the Fantasy World, but somehow, it's not possible for the girls to date the MC, each other and Elk at the same time and have group sex with the entire party. Naw, it's just multiple girls that can date one guy, and the game doesn't really elaborate on anything surrounding this...
Hell, it doesn't elaborate on some things it really should have elaborated on, and the hints system isn't really good enough to cover things. That said, you're gonna discover those things anyway if you're thorough about exploring and talking to NPCs and whatnot, so it's not, say, Morrowind level lack of information on what to do, not to mention that the explorable locations aren't THAT big... but I can see how it could be frustrating for people that want smut faster.
Speaking of stupid things that the game does... If the MC dates both girls, and initiates "harem sex" with them in the evening, the girl he didn't initiate with still somehow spends time with Elk and spends time masturbating at night...
So yeah, because the game has so many moving parts, it just doesn't do any particular job all that well. It's not horrible as some people might put it for various reasons, but it does stand out because it's easily obvious that it could have been so much better with more work put in for its various elements, or if some of those elements were cut out. There's a reason why a lot of games keep their focus more simple, and that's because the more elements you have, the more permutations you have to code for, and if you don't, the end result feels stupid for anyone who sees it.
Moving on. Aside from the poorly managed relationship aspects, there's the rest of the gameplay. It's a game with a Fantasy World, so of course there's some combat stuff too. That stuff is only somewhat notable. The thing to pay attention too is the fact that the MC and the girls start off pretty weak, and the only strong character is Elk. Near the end of the Tutorial, it's only Elk that can do serious damage to enemies and if you try to go through the game by just auto-attacking like other RPGMs out there, you'll end up with everyone defeated and the girls raped in short-order.
The game expects you to grind to an extent, so you can get some levels, upgrade everyone's gear and maybe even get extra stats. There's a system for upgrading the shop which requires collecting materials and turning them into parts with Alchemy, however, even before that the Accessory list is already complete from the start. There's a 10k Accessory that gives 30 to all stats, and a 5k Accessory that gives a 50% MP cost reduction. Combined, it's actually not that hard to turn fights into a 1-turn kill that will prevent the girls from being touched at all. It's not horribly grindy tbh, I've seen way worse games with way worse grind, and by JRPG standards, this is pretty mild and doesn't have any RNG at all, not to mention that you get consistent progress out of it, but I can see some people getting frustrated with the system.
I personally consider it ok. Combined with the quests progression, it's a decent H-JRPG result. The combat is fairly monotonous in terms of enemies, but it at least forces you to progress a bit, unlike other games out there that are a press Z/Enter simulator which have bunches of enemies with zero substance. Plus, the game doesn't try to do stupid shit like bosses that are lame but still have multiple phases. It also at least tries to keep things fresh with variations in where and how the quests happen, you don't have to run around the exact same areas over and over again outside of the grind. Pro-tip, the water area has the best monster/mats ratio if you want to grind ore and iron for the Shop upgrades quickly. (I'm looking at you here, FullSky Workshop games... among others...)
At this point, it's worth talking about the in-combat H-thing that this game has. In short, it's trash.
The way it works is that as the girls take damage, their clothing/armor gets increasingly damaged. If the girls reach zero HP, the enemies start to continuously molest them and they have repeated orgasms the longer this goes on. Note that this effect ignores turn order, so if you just sit there thinking, the girls will cum over and over and their lewdness will go through the roof. On top of that, no specific enemies are tied up molesting the girls, so the combat goes on as normal no matter what. What? This specific set of enemies only has tentacles molesting them and the tentacles are all dead? Naw. Doesn't matter. You can also stop it in one go using the MC's healing skill, one girl at a time, you can also, obviously prevent it by keeping the girls at more than 0 HP. Oh, and if I remember right, the girls get affection from Elk if you finish the combat with them at zero HP. Because of course.
In general, the girls sure are fast to blame the Alchemist dude for failing to save them quickly enough, but sure don't put any blame on Elk if the whole party gets wiped, even though he's the supposed combat powerhouse. Don't ask me what the logic is there...
So, what about the H-stuff? How does that look?
Well, there's obviously the subjective elements. Mileage will vary for art and writing. Personally, I like the art a lot and I think the writing is pretty decent (though the TL makes it less enjoyable). It's worth noting that the game wants to be primarily a NTR game, so pretty much every scene that isn't with the MC will have some flavor of "You have a boyfried? Fuck that, my cock is totally better! I'll make you forget all about him!" Whether it's goblins, random dudes in part-time jobs, or the bulls, you can always expect the scenes to have some kind of reference to the MC being inferior. While the MC, surprisingly, doesn't have a micro-penis like other games of this ilk, and doesn't seem to lose out in thickness outside of comparisons with tentacles and orcs, his dick IS shorter than everyone else's depicted by the fact that he barely touches the cervix in cross-sections, while everyone else deforms their wombs. Personally, I found the scenes to be pretty damn hot, and unlike some other games out there, the dev put in the effort to ensure that the girls have different poses and whatnot in their various scenes, even with the MC. So Azusa and Luna's goblin rape scene, for example, looks different with each girl and the tone of the girl's dialogues, while similar, had each girl's flavor to it to an extent. The part time jobs have different costumes for each girl too.
Quite frankly, the H-scenes are pretty much the only thing that the dev clearly put a lot of effort in. Particularly the defeat scenes tbh. Those seem like they received more love than even the ending scenes in some cases. (Especially the succubus defeat scenes, but that might just be my specific fetishes talking... >.>")
Getting this game for just its smut would not be a bad investment, even if everything else is fairly mediocre. At least, if you can enjoy all of its varied elements. I'm into pretty much everything this game has to offer, so while I'm frustrated with the implementation of various things, the H-stuff was amazing for me. However, someone that wants more specific things, like a focus on NTR, or just cheating, or corruption, or monster rape... Well, they'll be disappointed.
To expand on that, the bulls each have 8 scenes with each girl, and the progression between them is... not great. It's a thing that just happens and only seems to be limited by encounters, not milestones in affection levels or lewdness or anything. As an example, the events with Elk progress rapidly from talking, to kissing, to blowjob, to sex as long as the girl's affection for Elk is higher than their affection for the MC. If you raise MC's affection back, the girls stop cheating with Elk. At least in the early phases, I haven't checked in depth if there's a point of no return. Also, Elk doesn't have any scenes with both girls outside of two endings, same with the fuckboy in the Modern World (though he only has 1 ending), so in some aspects, you could say that the MC is actually ahead of the two in terms of scenes.
I'm not even gonna comment on the "pregnancy mechanic bait". I'll just say that it's fake and that if pregnancy is your primary thing, do not play this game for that. It doesn't even have pregnancy endings or anything, just some very shitty bad-endings, which, btw, of course, only apply if the girls are dating the MC. If you thought that the thing in the status screen or the rule at the guild meant that there's proper pregnancy stuff... well, you thought wrong.
Moving on, the story. The story is... ok. It's at least somewhat more interesting than average with the whole going back and forth between the Modern World and the Fantasy World. The whole thing with the Demon King absorbing power from the Modern World is not a common trope and I'm not sure if there's any other H-game that tried to tackle it. It has some neat world building here and there, but it also has bad sides too and outright stupid parts in some places. (The whole thing with the wire-cutters was just so stupid. You're seriously gonna try to tell me that you need wire-cutters in a setting with magic? Bruh. Come on...) Dev could've done more with the idea of concepts mattering between worlds. It would've also been nice if they did more with the Modern World in general, like having limited funds there and stuff. It could've given you some real reasons to interact with the fuck-boy at least, because as the game currently stands, the only reason to let the girls with him is to unlock the Achievements related to him.
This is because his scenes only exist in the gallery btw. The MC doesn't see anything directly unless an ending happens with the fuck-boy. So the whole system with him is pretty shitty.
Story hints seem to indicate that the dev intended to do more, but either didn't have the time or didn't know how. The early interactions with the fuck-boy make me think that the whole thing was meant to be more complex and that you were supposed to earn money on both sides. In the Fantasy World to get gear and whatnot. In the Modern World to buy items that you need to weaken the gate or strengthen the party or concoct new spells. Quite frankly, there was a lot more that the dev could have done here to make things interesting... but they didn't... so here we are. The current format is a tad silly with just instantly finding solutions to various problems at the end.
I did like the plot-twist with the succubi though. I saw it coming, but it was still pretty nice overall.
Still, as I said before, for all of its faults in failing to live up to its potential, this game isn't actually horrible in an overall sense. If you're into all of its various forms of smut and aren't completely allergic to grind, then it's actually a pretty fun game to play and the scenes are really hot in terms of content and context. The gameplay is serviceable and not as boring as many other RPGM games out there. The story is serviceable and doesn't overstay its welcome or tries to be cool/deep while failing at it. Honestly. It's a decent game. Hell, if the dev kept working on it, it could've been a great, if not amazing game. Unfortunately, its various faults can't be ignored and if I were to rate, it'd likely still end up at ~3 stars, mediocre overall. Maybe 3.5, because the H-scenes are great and if rated alone, I'd probably give them 4, or 4.5 stars. (Though, again, that's some specific fetishes talking too... >.>")
