To fan patch creater, I came back to the game after a while and replayed the intro discovered it has been rewritten, in a way that by mere substituting the character names and how they call each other is no longer good enough.

At least one reason would be that they've been focused on getting the game on Steam. That has slowed things down a bit. There have also been adjustments (like to combat), so rewriting that and/or coding it could also have slowed things down.

Well the simple answer is it hasn't.
No one's leaked the last update from like 2 months back, and we decided to merge the late Nov update and steam release update into one.

Hey guys,
So the big announcement is we've delayed the steam launch to December 9th, we didn't make the decision lightly, but, we've felt this was the best way to ensure we had the highest quality launch available.
We're right in the midst now of balancing and improving combat further, as well as integrating a lot of the new stuff, many fun things are to come!
New content, art revamping, and lots of little changes here and there. I will give some more detailed news soon once we've managed to cut through some more of this work.

Alongside balancing, quests will now detail as well the approx level we recommend as a bare 'minimum' you reach before attempting them.

Just touching base to say things are going well, we've nearly completed the first round of testing for combat balancing/refinement, things are progressing nicely so far.
We're onto the last couple enemies for balancing, and then it's onto tweaking audio/visual improvements and things, hopefully!
We're still implementing the scripts, gathering art and making lots of QOL improvements, including adding optional easy and hard modes into the game.
The team feels confident that this steam release is going to be our best release yet!
That's really all we have for now without spoiling too much,

Didn't even know .157 was out. I got the game from Itch.io so I guess I'm a second class citizen. We'll see when it gets updated and I'll try to upload then as well. I'll put apk in thread soon.

So in the new version there is no way to decrease the corruption with fighting like it used to be in previous versions?And the travel is so tedious now traveling to one place to another takes so much in game time that the corruption grows even more.I remember in valley of death there used to be option to hunt the demorai now there is no option to do it.

Corruption never decreased with fighting... In any version as far as I'm aware, because we never implemented it. It's something that's retconed narratively, you decrease corruption by having sex.
There is an auto travel feature to move through the travel map as quickly as possible. You can already have sex on your travels, though more options are being added.
You can still hunt Demorai in the valley of death.

It never did? I swear I could remember doing this early game in previous versions man.I must be tripping lol sorry for the wrong info then.Valley of death doesn't show the option to hunt demorai tho is it a 0.156 version bug?
