So where exactly does the current story end? it was really hard to tell, events sort of just stopped happening. I could not trigger any of the scenes with the lizard girls or the old lady as well. several days passed by without any new event or hints on how to progress.

Currently the last main story mission is "A tale of two Emperors", there you and Marcus move deeper into the Valley of Death to explore the temple ruins.

A lot of options require certain Parasite Perks. The Lizards require you to have Natural Instincts.
With Mrs. Winward (the old lady) you have a couple options. One scene requires you to have the Terrifying Perk, so that you can deal with Mr. Winward in a certain way. Where as Perception Warp opens up a different route for you.

that sounds tedious.
it also doesn't even make any sense from a lore perspective. MC is a magi-biological horror. He should not rely on mundane equipment for his combat abilities. Rather he should level up his ability to produce weapons and armor from his body via shapeshifting.
You never played Elder Scrolls or any other mmorpg game? I mean, the Dragonborn is basically a god, and a brother to a world-ending being. Yet the dude has to mine ores and make ingots for armor. Being a biological horror aint no excuse

1. you are not a magitech shapeshifting biohorror in elder scrolls
2. even if we ignore point 1. elder scrolls games were not perfection. you can't just point at something they did and go "well elder scrolls did X therefore all games must do X".

as for "other mmorpgs". too vague. I can't really refute it without specific examples.

as for the world ending part. that is a different argument from mine.
yea, it is a bit immersion breaking that when the world is on the line you have the time to stop and grind your mining and smithing skills up. but my argument was completely different. it was about how magitech shapeshifter biohorrors should be internally forming weapons.

actually... just look at alex mercer from prototype. he is a perfect example of how it is done. he uses his powers to make weapons from his body. very lore appropriate.

Is Nyx quest bugged? Only in Dom route does she give the keys. In romance route, it says to check on her, but nothing happens after the kiss.

I dig her new look too. The hat for me is fine, looks comfy, but wouldn't be suitable if she's chasing people as an inquisitor. A hood would look badass

Alderian News!

Hey guys, just checking in to show off some cool stuff.
First and foremost, the work is going well on the next update, unfortunately, the battle for Novaras requires a considerable amount of assets (and time) to assemble in order to make it truly feel 'epic,' but we are making steady progress.

One cool thing I wanted to show off was the full map for the next major city, the free city of Hamun is now ready and just needs integrating. We have some of the backgrounds ready, we just need of course time to bring this city really to life and hopefully fill it with some interesting quests!

The free city of Hamun, now under the control of powerful merchant lords, has become a den for thieves, gangs and warlords... But the city occupies a unique position in the war. For rumor has it, this now neutral city has become the host of many secret deals and trades for not only the Alderian government... But even Demorai spies.

The rich, and powerful merchants who have assumed control of the free city during the turbulence of the Demorai war are not to be dismissed. Controlling the great port, and the many lucrative goings-on in the city has allowed these merchant lords to grow extremely wealthy, to the point many of them possess what would amount to a small army of guards.

To flex their new power and wealth, the merchant lords have created a grand new arena modelled after the one in Farah'Sand. Many have started to call the free city 'little Ramon' after many of the merchants, immigrants from Ramon, seem determined to model the city after Farah'Sand itself.

... There is an ancient legend around Hamun from the time of the old gods, regarding a titan like creature named 'Titarik' who refused to let any ships dock on the shores until a warrior defeated him in battle. It's said, the titan after being defeated by the legendary mage Salran, swore to defend the shores against the many rival kingdoms, and years later, in a fierce battle, Titarik finally fell from his injuries after repelling an invasion... His colossal blade and skull are all that remain of that ancient time.

...

That's all for now,
We'll have more news and things to post soon!
As always,
thank you all so much for your support,
you guys are awesome and make all of this possible!
Love,
