Now, with all of that news, I have no doubt you're wondering when the release date for the next update is?
The planned approx release for the next update is the 7th-10th of March, (presuming there's no delays like last time).
Felt like when devs says that they're planning to release it on specific dates, it ends up getting delayed. Maybe it's on me for trusting the devs a bit too much.

We're changing our release schedule post this release.
The current release schedule is now causing more problems than it's solving.

I do recommend to work with a sheet progress marking percentages publicly to know the progress of the next version instead of giving an estimate of a date in which the new version is done. That avoid burning the team and don't give hopes for the consumers but an overall estimation of how the progress continue until release (phase of writing, drawing, coding, bug fixing, testing...). In that way, many consumers can be helped too to know how hard make a game is and at the same time if the development is having some problems, those can be seen just by seeing how much progress the sheet is showing. But of course, whatever you do, you'll never get off the people who love to do damage, if you use your actual model giving dates or making a sheet in which the representation shows a low or slow progress, as they only live to do damage they will say it's milking...

0.147 is now out and available to Aristocrat tier and above patrons and subscribestars. You can find the latest build here: or over on the subcribestar at:

0.147 Changelog:
- new quest: a tale of two emperors
- a bunch of new characters & scenes as per the quest
- new location as a part of the quest
- new quests, char & lewd stuff if you bring the slime jar with ya during The Bloodhound
- From Another World quest as a part of prologue: act1 now starts at either ves camp if player saved her, or at novaras city if they did not.
- quickstart changed to accomodate for FAW being merged into prologue sequence, added a choice sequence to alter pre-act1 choices
- Para dream sequence tied into Adara Reunion quest: doesn't rely on weird sleep trigger anymore
- gallery rework: characters as categories, scene variants as additional flags that are saved on being seen
- tons of fixes to existing gallery scenes
- gutted native renpy gui, rebuilt entire ui from the ground-up: main menu, save menu, credits, options
- as part of the above, plenty changes to ui big & small
- massive amount of typos fixed, big thanx to ivann for providing a list of most of these (was it 400+ total?)
- map doesn't have location names baked-in anymore
- valley of death as a separate location southwards of novaras
- "hunt demorai" moved to VoD
- added missing elena grind + lingerie finish arts
- quicksave/quickload with f5/f9
- non-flickering main menu video (finally) & non-bugging-out save thumbnails
- some tutorial popups placed around the game, explaining functionality
- prologue intro stretched on x-axis a bit
- the dark knight lists gangs slain
- Added additional soundtracks
- new adara hug cgs
- replaced some prologue artworks w/better ones
- replaced nijah prologue doggy w/improved one

Alderian News (Moving forward...)


Hey guys,

So, a few important announcements.
First, we hope you guys will/are enjoying the latest update when you get a chance to play it, it's one of the largest, (if not the largest) updates we've done so far!

For a while now, it's become increasingly apparent to us, (and to our supporters), that we've been struggling to release content updates month in, month out. Aside from the difficulty of trying to produce meaningful content updates every month, another problem has crept in > Simply put, we're spending so much time trying to cram in content updates, we're not leaving enough time for the actual coding work to improve the game, and this current system is simply not working with promised deadlines we're failing to meet.

So, moving forward: We will still be giving monthly updates, however, we will be rotating between tech only updates and content based updates month to month.

What this means is our schedule will look like this:

Month 1 - Tech only update - (The focus is on the code and possibly minor art updates/swaps etc).

Month 2 - Content update - A hopefully significant increase in actual player content, quests and such.

(This will then rotate back to another tech only update and loop).

We think this release system will prove far more practical in the long-term with our development.
Additionally, we're trialing out a new coder recently, and have re-configured some of in-house management which we hope will help streamline and iron out any issues.

If you have any questions, please ask them here or over on the discord and we'll try answer as soon as we can.

P.S, if/when you play the latest build, please don't forget to delete persistent data in the options menu - It's hard to fix reported bugs which may just be the result of not doing this.

Myu is great. Will the mc be able to have sex with the scary form of Myu too? Maybe right after a hunt so that she can get fed too? Nothing like good old alley sex to make their bond ever stronger. Also will mc be able to kiss her?

Myu will definately have more scenes in the future and such and we'll probably add kissing art at some point.

Alderian news!

Hey guys, just checking in to say work is still continuing and we're not all (metaphorically speaking) dead.

With that said, not a lot to talk about so soon after the last update, we hope everyone (when the get to play it) enjoys it.

We're still working on improving combat and hopefully eventually the saves issue, (feel like a broken record saying that but it's true).
