No, only cheat codes. If I get the Premium edition DLC on Steam, does that get me updates the same time as Patreon supporters or does that just give me cheat codes?
Is there a walkthrough somewere?
How do i triggered the old man death?
To be honest i'd have figured this wouldve gotten leaked already, tho I have no qualms with using this site I do like seeing there at least be a delay in piracy lolJust be patient, and let the dev earn his keep? It's not like someone is going to die if the game is leaked a month or so after launch![]()
Glad to see saves can now work across updates. I remember checking out this game when the first update was published here and being really impressed by it. Not having the ability to maintain saves across updates is why I decided not to follow it or buy it on steam. I saw the thing about the updated quickstart feature but I still prefer the continuity I get from loading my old saves since I might have a hard time remembering all the choices I made between long update cycles.- introduced a save update routine: saves up to version 0.159 (backwards from 0.162) should now be working on ver. 0.162. Perhaps even saves made on earlier versions of the game.
You have heard of beta versions on steam right? Beta versions are when we still got the old version of a game BUT the dev uploads the newest still untested version for the players to use it and test it.Why buy games at all if you can pirate them for free? Why buy goods at all if you can steal them for free?
Consider that the Patreon version is an early release, one filled with bugs that'd need to be ironed out. If you were to push this to Steam, people will leave negative reviews. Why wouldn't you release a more polished experience there? Are you no better than a AAA dev who has to release day 1 patches to fix game-breaking bugs that should have been caught by QA?
No one is denying the customer their right to complain about the product. The developer wishes the customer to get a product that suits their desires and wishes for their experience to not be a bad one. Is that not caring for the customer?
Bruh your point is completely one hundred percent wrong I would understand it if steam worked like Google play store where you can only have the newest version of any app available but steam got this very useful feature called CHOSING the game version that allows devs to upload beta versions and even older versions for every user to use.You do realize, devs generally don't account for piracy when it comes to tailoring benefits for their supporters, right? Or do you think they leak their own games in advance on purpose for some reason?
Also, in a perfect world, gentleman piracy would be the best thing when it comes to promoting a game IF it happened after STEAM/ITCH users got their release as well. But we don't live in perfect world. In-fact, most of the time, it's the one of the subscribestar/patreon supporters who just waltz in, throw money for a month and leak the game and continue to rinse and repeat with each cycle. I'm sure if the dev knew exactly who these leakers were, they'd refuse their money. But unfortunately, no one comes in with that kind of honesty stamped to their heads. The only thing they can do is to systematically release the game from the most expensive tier to the most affordable, so as to minimize the chance of a leak overtime.
In the end, if you choose to support a dev on STEAM/ITCH/JAST etc. by paying one time in advance for a WIP game, you need to make peace with the fact that the trade off is to wait. Early access is the biggest and most attractive benefit loyal supporters get to enjoy for their continuous backing of a project far beyond the price tag of a single copy.
Piracy is not part of the equation here at all and if you think that somehow taking your sale away from the dev is justified as you could just enjoy the game as a pirate, do realize that a hard working dev is sustained by monetary support. If it dwindles down, it won't be long before the "Abandoned" tag will adorn the pirate thread as well.
You definitely need to be institutionalized if this is what you are choosing to focus on in those replies.Bruh your point is completely one hundred percent wrong I would understand it if steam worked like Google play store where you can only have the newest version of any app available but steam got this very useful feature called CHOSING the game version that allows devs to upload beta versions and even older versions for every user to use.
How much is the dev paying for you to simp so hard? You definitely need to be institutionalized if this is what you are choosing to focus on in those replies.
Don't think so.Longshot but has this game got a working save system between versions yet?
Oh right thanks for the info.Don't think so.
My gam still crashes when I attempt to
someone tell him about cause and effect, and supply and demand before i do before i start roasting whoever made this comment. You could easily make another method to give the Patreon monthly patrons a gift instead of actively shooting your own foot on steam I mean why would a steam user even buy your game there if he can just come here and get the game for free and on top of that get the newest version that hasn't even released there? That's just bad management on your part bro. Also call me crazy but when did we go from "customer is always right" to customer will buy it and if he doesn't like he won't complain about it?
