Erika's hat makes her look kind of stupid can't take her serious as an inquisitor with that thing on her head lol. View attachment 4523201

This is from 0.158 Erika/sis looks better because of not having that hat and also her armour looks good and yeah her tiddies too lol. While the new version has looks like a cosplay with the hat and the dress instead of armour and also smaller tiddies lol.
I dig her new look too. The hat for me is fine, looks comfy, but wouldn't be suitable if she's chasing people as an inquisitor. A hood would look badass

Alderian News!

Hey guys, just checking in to show off some cool stuff.
First and foremost, the work is going well on the next update, unfortunately, the battle for Novaras requires a considerable amount of assets (and time) to assemble in order to make it truly feel 'epic,' but we are making steady progress.

One cool thing I wanted to show off was the full map for the next major city, the free city of Hamun is now ready and just needs integrating. We have some of the backgrounds ready, we just need of course time to bring this city really to life and hopefully fill it with some interesting quests!

The free city of Hamun, now under the control of powerful merchant lords, has become a den for thieves, gangs and warlords... But the city occupies a unique position in the war. For rumor has it, this now neutral city has become the host of many secret deals and trades for not only the Alderian government... But even Demorai spies.

The rich, and powerful merchants who have assumed control of the free city during the turbulence of the Demorai war are not to be dismissed. Controlling the great port, and the many lucrative goings-on in the city has allowed these merchant lords to grow extremely wealthy, to the point many of them possess what would amount to a small army of guards.

To flex their new power and wealth, the merchant lords have created a grand new arena modelled after the one in Farah'Sand. Many have started to call the free city 'little Ramon' after many of the merchants, immigrants from Ramon, seem determined to model the city after Farah'Sand itself.

... There is an ancient legend around Hamun from the time of the old gods, regarding a titan like creature named 'Titarik' who refused to let any ships dock on the shores until a warrior defeated him in battle. It's said, the titan after being defeated by the legendary mage Salran, swore to defend the shores against the many rival kingdoms, and years later, in a fierce battle, Titarik finally fell from his injuries after repelling an invasion... His colossal blade and skull are all that remain of that ancient time.

...

That's all for now,
We'll have more news and things to post soon!
As always,
thank you all so much for your support,
you guys are awesome and make all of this possible!
Love,

-The Damned Studios Team

It feels weird to ask this, but I hope we get more non-smut sidequests eventually. after the first couple of days I never had the infection be a problem, hell most of the time the bar never to 20.

Hi everyone, I've a small question if someone can help.
I'm very early in the story, just met Adara for the first time since returning to the city from the relic expedition where I got my parasite. After a short conversation, I get two choices: ask her to meet me at the bar at night, or just tell her we'll catch up sometime. Telling her we'll catch up has a blue heart icon next to it (suggesting it's a good choice for romancing her) but asking to meet her at the bar literally gives access to a new scene. So what's the deal? What should I pick if I want to see all the content? And I want to romance Adara?

Blue heart is a loss of affection. If you want to romance her you should chase after the red heart options.

I considered that, but the text in her reaction doesn't seem to correspond to loss of affection. If anything, she seemed more excited when I told her I want to catch up sometime than when I asked her to meet me at the bar.

Good to know, from now on I'll stick to red hearts. Thanks for the help and have a great day!

Update: For the sake of context, I'll keep the original message below - the artist in question has since left the team. It was an amicable decision after the artist decided themselves, given that the long-term issues in the region show no signs of improving, he has since decided to pursue a more 'normal' career path and is no longer working as an artist at all. While we were sad to see him go, after exploring all routes and options, there wasn't really much else anyone could do.

In regard to AI, while we still reserve the right to use it if need be, we have since hired on new staff and made some pretty big internal changes. We feel we're in a good place development wise now. There is currently no AI within PB, and there isn't currently any plans for heavy, long-term AI use, at least with regards to the art. If this changes for whatever reason, we will let people know.

Alderian News (Important!)

Hey guys, we have a bit of important news to discuss some potential changes coming.

As some of you are aware, recently, one of our artists has been missing. While they have managed to make contact and deliver some work, communication lines with them are very difficult. We have managed to get a hold of them, maybe once or twice a month. We've been holding back on commenting further on the issue in the hopes that it resolves itself soon, but this does seem to potentially be a long-term issue.

Unfortunately, and while I can't delve too deep into their personal issues, for context, they live in a relatively unstable area in one of the south Americas, with both limited internet issues and rampant gang violence that seems to be having a flair up recently.

We've attempted to find an artist to fill in the void while hopefully things settle, and while the art produced was very high quality, unfortunately, for PB we fear it will just create more inconsistencies in the long run.

Furthermore, we're not exactly thrilled at the prospect of kicking someone while they're down, (aka, firing them and replacing them altogether), due to circumstances completely out of their control.

As such, when we did manage to have contact with the artist, with their permission, they agreed to allow us to use AI when necessary, based on their art to create new scenes possibly given the circumstances.

I want to stress that none of the art staff are being let go, in fact, we've hired on MORE art staff recently and their regular work will continue as normal.

Furthermore, any AI art produced, we plan to have the existing artists check it over to ensure it's the highest quality we can get it.

We further hope, of course, this approach will help speed up our production, but we are still entirely committed to delivering the highest quality we can.

We haven't made this decision lightly, we had many internal debates, and we're aware of the sensitive nature of AI, but we hope given the circumstances, and how we're handling things, you and the rest of our fans will be understanding.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. If the situation changes for whatever reason, we will let you know.

Thank you.

Alysha (Above) - If she survives her encounter with the Slave Master, she might just find a new meaning in life under the wing of Captain Nyx and the city guard

As always,
thank you all for your support so far,
you guys are awesome, and we couldn't do this without you,
Love,

Well atleast it was art but from what I read they are going to use Ai for art I don't care about Ai but most of the Ai art looks bad lol. Also they are doing a second project which is prequel which has a good artist but tha main game will use Ai.The reason for Ai is silly too it is to avoid inconsistencies with artstyle better to have inconsistencies than use AI in your main game Also this game is always going through some problems.

Oh god, I wasn't sure if It was Ai at first and I was hopeful i wasn't. Ai slop is gonna hurt this game already with a few glaring issues. I mean why redo the art? That almost never works out well for most games. Like that Danny Phantom game (artist quit or left tho) and they redid all the previous artists scenes.

I was so about to buy the game on steam too. I know it isn't a lot of money but I'm just jaded after so many bait and switched or uncompleted games. Already Ves (The main reason my attention to the game was drawn) has been completely changed to something that so far feels far less unique. What is this AI going to be used for? Scene art, character art, location art? Etc. That's all very important to know.
