SPOILER I'm kinda stuck at the events AFTER the questline with 2nd demon emperor/temple where the kraken is, is there no continuation to the story for now? Also female knight story is incomplete and I can't seem to find a way to get past relationship 4, is this it? Or I just got bugged out and there is actually more playable story?

Alright, after some careful consideration, I want to confirm the release date of the end of act 1 (and more), is planned for the end of this month!
We're careful not to give dates too preemptively, as we do our best to avoid having to announce potential delays and things unless absolutely necessary, we still have a lot of implementing to do, as well as playtesting obviously, but this update is probably one of the most ambitious we've done yet.

We're super excited about this update, the lovely artwork above is courtesy of one of the new artists Aelty, whose going to be producing some particularly amazing scenes for us soon!
We have some more news and things to announce soon, but for now, we're keeping our cards close till we're ready - but make no mistake, some very exciting things are happening behind the scenes.

This update will feature numerous quality of life improvements, open up the next major city, (The free city of Hamun), and will continue the epic story of Parasite Black as well as introduce multiple lewd scenes~

Ok act 1 is getting closed. Did Regina get new stuff after that blowjob or still rotting in the corner?
This game is really good, but it's a shame that the story has been stagnant for so long, I hope this next update is really good and adds a lot of content.

Yo, just played the game for the first time. Tried to create a save and the game crashed. Tried it a few more times at different points and it's the same all the time. What did I do wrong? I haven't even installed the rollback mod yet or anything.

Huh, why? I literally did that for every single renpy game I played (100+) and never had a problem like that before.Don't install renpy games into your program files folder
Also it's in a folder in the program files folder, not directly in it, if that's what you are talking about.
Why? Because you'll run into problems like this. If I had a nickel for every time I see someone put their games in their program files folder and run into this exact problem I'd have 20 cents, which isn't a lot but it's at least 4 5 cent candies, 3 with taxes. If I then had another nickel every time someone who did that and ran into one of these problems insisted that other games work fine then I'd have another 4 5 cent candies, or this time 7 total with taxes since the taxes on those two purchases would be less than two candies.
It doesn't matter that you put it into a sub folder. The permissions are inherited from the program files folder when you create a sub folder there and will cause these problems. You should be putting your renpy games into a folder that doesn't have the elevated permission bullshit you get in program files. For that matter you should be putting all of your games, renpy or otherwise, in a folder other than one that comes with that elevated permissions bullshit.

Yes, as long as it's not in a directory with elevated permissions. Relatively minimal. It makes the MC live with his mom and have a sister who visits. But I haven't played this in forever, so it might have escalated since then. For awhile, the developers kept restructuring / redoing after every several updates, forcing complete restarts. So, I decided this is something I probably won't play until it's finished, or possibly before then but still down the road a bit.

I don't remember now, TBH. If you start the game, you'll know within the first few minutes. He has some dialogue with her in the early prologue before the main plot of the game really gets going.
