Holy shit! Did you make "The Ark"?! I saw a very early version of that game years ago, but then it went off my radar somehow. Not sure if you were able to finish it, but that explains why you are so experienced in games like these.
I'm glad you could keep peace with Kodman, even if that means that scene had to be changed. Of course, since the victim is a woman it would feel natural if it comes from the womb, but maybe there is more to see in later versions.

Kodman was really respectful having in mind the situation. We just discussed which things were more problematic and I just changed it. I still want to change some things. At this state the game is not that similar imo, but I think the game will always have the stigma.

Right now I have not enough financial capacities to support your current project, but this will probably change later this year, so I will keep an eye on your progress
I don't know what went wrong with "The Ark" or I just can't remember. Maybe I should check it to compare it with PE. As far as I can see this project could be more promising. Maybe, if you are finshed, you make the next game together with Kodman

This is encouraging.

On a side note: not sure what changed with the pistol reticle, but now that it is a circle with the ammo count in the center of it (instead of a crosshair), I cannot hit anything with it. Went through the whole mag at the end trying different aim points, and nothing. Died to the tiny creature because I could not shoot it. May want to rework this. Put the ammo counter some where else and give us the crosshair back.

Put the ammo counter some where else and give us the crosshair back.

The crosshair should be visible, if is not there that might be a bug. I have to increase the crosshair visibility anyways.

I don't get it. I played the game from the patreon link and the lighting was fine now when I launched it, it was like Jesus came and blessed this game. Did you do something to the lighting?

Maybe the gamma? You can tweak it on settings

so far I enjoy it for as short as it is, and the graphics are great the atmosphere its good I think its to dark in some areas and the flashlight isn't as easy to light up a specific area. I would suggest making it more clear what items are eligible to be examined or picked up with an "E" key showing up as the current highlight its too small and easy to miss.

The shadows were too dark and that will be fixed in the next version. Also the visibility of the crosshair and the interactions

Texture overall in the game don't seem to load, the main menu runs well, but ingame they just refuse to load even after forcing the game with NVIDIA control panel to use the nvidia card

Did you changed the texture quality on settings? After a change the game should be restarted.

If not, your VRAM might be overloaded

Nvidia RTX 3050 4GB VRAM laptop model
I can play Parasite Inside, Delta Zone, BITS and other heavy UE games (on the adult side) just fine with high graphics
On the non-adult I can play Tekken 8, SF6 non-issue and even Stellar Blade 60fps on medium-high
