Multiple niche fetishes and a Godot build? That’s like finding your weird snack aisle and your favorite indie game engine all in one place. Definitely curious how they’re balancing the story and the... uh, “parasite” action ;)

I'm not one to immediately dislike a game just because it has AI Art; if you don't have the time or means to make/buy your own art, I say go for it. But the first one had a distinct art style (I believe it was by Lemonfont?) that I was a bit caught off guard by the fact that the sequel uses AI.

the art hasn't ben improved its been replaced by ai. the first games art was a huge factor for a lot of people sticking with the first game for as long as they did and now its just, ai bs number 5437. maybe with them outsourcing their art to a word processor will at least let them develop the actual game better than last time around.

AI art can be okay in certain circumstances, even though 99% of the time it shows up it's because it's being used out of laziness rather than as an actual tool. It's disappointing in this case because the old art was so good, but if the relationship with the artist has broken down and the dev wants to focus on the game part, then I guess it's fine.

It does raise the bar for the game's quality though, because if the art's being offloaded to AI, and the game's empty and poorly coded, then it's a problem.

Stop with the never ending bitching and moaning about AI art; I am with you I hate it, but seriously. Make a topic in General Discussions if you want to talk about it. For those actually interested in WHY it swapped to AI from real art it's due to financial reasons. The developer even explicitly stated that he will gladly switch back to real art if he had the money to support the artist. You can find him talking about it on his discord.

Keep this thread on-topic. Any further tag complaining will result in a thread ban.

Pretty good, there are no solutions or animations, but in the future I know that the game will become SUPER COOL! I had a lot of fun with it, I must have started over around 10+ because I was getting caught and in the end I reached the very end of this part, it was just great! :love:(y)

The AI art isn't too much of an issue. It's serviceable and they seem to be taking the time to refine out oddities like six fingers.

The real issue I have is the writing seems to have been infected (no pun intended) with redpill incel nonsense. It's really distracting and adds nothing of value.

the game crashes on launch for me without and error message.
the game window pops up and then its gone.

running on windows 10
