PI2 looks like pure AI slop. I don't get why the dev pushed for a second game so badly when the RPG-maker version of the game had so much promise and is the only ongoing project that currently resembles a "game". What made the first "game" somewhat enjoyable was the art and images.

I don't mind AI "art" in these types of games because most porn devs have little to no resources and are always financially limited. But there are examples of games using AI art really well while having other complimentary elements that makes those projects worthwhile to follow/play (story, characters, gameplay, etc.).

Wait, there is an RPG-Maker version? Or was one of the old versions?

knowing the next game is likely all ai, i don't mind, incases of a single dev i see ai being used in the few ways ai can be a good thing. allowing single dev users to show their story with out having to arange commisions and add restrictions/deterants on what would just acompany the main point, the plot

So here's a rundown of what the dev said if their reasons for using ai
They have come out and said they are switching to ai art but that's because the artist they were using went silent and they couldn't find anyone to match the price to quality ratio.

Now with that said they are training the AI on the original art but from what I've seen they've opted for the more realistic style

Its unfinished, I got to the end part of the section where you had infected enough people to go outside and it had literal placeholder text
I didn't get that far, but if it doesn't go anywhere I won't really bother. Shame. Liked Part 1 and 2, after that.. ehh.

Has someone the new version of the game? $22 It's insanely expensive for my third world economy, specially for an unfinished game.

There is a copy in the forum here, but it is so bad, I mean think of the worst game design you ever did see, then the worst plot you know of, and finally make it so saves fail, you can't undo decisions, and the random nature can destroy you quickly.

the game isn't finished. there's no ending. it cuts off on a 'cliffhanger' where it says it's unfinished.
and thats when you get past the preaching, and the dead ends that leave you unable to continue and don't result in a game over. It just stops.

and the trigger for some of those start building so early it's impossible to use saves to get around it.

Edit to add: it really feels like the game code is AI generated too, in that it's really hard to create a situation with this kind of abandoned logic (code paths) by hand. You'd have to really try to mess up, and even then you'll get some things right anyway.

its a waste of time to play it tbh. the AI art and it feeling really rushed makes it unsatisfying
And on top of it, the first game isn't even finished! What dev starts a sequel game without even finishing the original game. Seems like he just wants to put out AI slop as fast as he can for whatever reason.

I think this is actually abandoned hence the sequel because they switched after the artist stopped responding to messages and they could find anyone capable of mimicing the art style for around the same price.

That is at least what the dev claims about why they switched to AI which I'm included to agree since they openly admitted to using the artist art to train the ai

Oh, this sounds really bad, why the hell costs $22 then.

This is sad, I really like the game and the fetish.

Because the dev believes themselves and this game to be the next big thing or something equally as dumb. I don't remember their exact wording but it comes down to an inflated ego and sense of worth
Got the same feeling. I mean "You couldn't wait, so we didn't" what the hell? Is the 22$ for the marketing team he bought in to push this crap? I don't know what he's smoking but I want some.
