You get the code from an email. I don't recall the code, but that's how I got it. It will display the code for you at the door once you've read that email. You can read the email in a room near that door.
wait so it updated, i cant tell in the patch notes what exactly is different now because i dont remember how or where it ended. is there new main story to progress?

For a game called "Parasite Inside" there is way too much human/humanoid content. If I wanted to see a hot woman have sex with regular men, any other game does the exact same shit. The whole point is the parasite aspect of it, and as far as I'm concerned, if the game doesn't implement more non-humanoid enemy types and some sort of pregnancy/birthing mechanic, then this'll all be a massive waste of our time and expectations.
Finished the current version. Personal observations:
1. Health seems to be just a very roundabout trait used mainly for jumping attempts and fall damage. Immunity feels more like the FMC's actual health gauge than Health itself at the moment.
2. In infected areas, not much variety in environmental hazards besides the spore sacs. FMC mentioning the dangling tentacles while crawling under a vent was the only thing of note, but part of me thought there'd be some action going on instead of it simply being a set piece.
3. Inconsistency with infection status. Infected FMC can simply shower everything off, which sort of goes against the journal info discovered in lab area as well as being shot by the NPC in the area if FMC attempts to interact with them with the status. I guess it's something being planned for a later update?
3a. Wearing outfits while infected? You can use D-Tox to go back up to 100% immunity, but system prevents player from wearing any outfit until FMC showers. I'm presuming the potential infected route might have something to do with it.
4. Infected scenes #1+2 were stellar, infected scenes #3+4 not so much.

At this point I don't know if my game is broken or not. I'm assuming you're talking about the save points and I have tried everything I can think of, but nobody else seems to be having this issue, so it should be something easy and obvious. It is most certainly NOT that way for me. My files say v0.3.0 and I have attached pictures of both menus. Nothing besides the c-scanner lights up in the inventory menu. I started a new file, so this is in the bedroom after getting the two available after the opening cutscene before the fall from the vent.

Why is my game freezing? I run for about 2-3 minutes and the game freezes completely, there is no way to go beyond the 1st first corridor due to the fact that it freezes completely.The game itself runs at 50-60 fps on high settings, the computer is working fine. I changed the graphics settings, cleaned the computer, and nothing changed.
Standard questions:
At the time of a freeze...
1) Does task manager show any resource maxxing out?
2) GPU-Z is a free program like task manager, but built for giving detailed graphics card information. Is anything being maxxed out in its display?
3) Is your virus scanner reacting to it at all?
Others:
A) Define cleaned the computer?
B) Grab Call of Beyond (a game on here). It too runs on Unreal Engine. See if a similar issue occurs for it.
C) Create a shortcut of the game, and in properties, to the launch field, add -dx11 -d3d11 ... this will force the game to use Dx11, in case Dx12 on your machine isn't liking it for x reasons.
D) Video card used and current driver?
