You seem to miss a massive part of the point. If you like a game, and want more of it, it is counter productive to take away their main reason for making it: income. Especially in cases like this where they are literally giving away a full version that is only a revision behind. It hurts no one to let them have their Patreon Supporters when they are updating regularly and giving away the slightly older content.

Now we're complaining we've had to wait 7 months. Which we were informed would happen in the beginning because of the Credit Card companies interfering with Patreon, forcing the Dev to retool income. Then a copy / paste game (Parasite Echo) plagiarizing most of the game and forcing a retool of the game itself. Now, we're interfering with the code generator forcing even further retooling delays. Still, us having to wait longer is FAR MORE IMPORTANT than anything that could be doing to the Dev. So fuck that guy and carry on. Somebody needs to signal some virtue. At the very least, rub 2 brain cells together and figure out how much future content you're going to get if the Dev can't make any money.
no actually you seemed to miss the whole entire point of my post. People come here to discuss the games. They dont want every other post to be someone trying to make them feel bad for not paying a monthly subscription to the dev escpeially when he is only making his own supporters suffer since we all immediately had a bypass and they had to wait while the verification system was fixed or changed hourly. Take that energy to another website. keep this place for discussions about the game.

You’re absolutely right in what you’re saying, but I feel like you’re fighting windmills here. As the saying goes: “if it needs to be explained, then it doesn’t need to be explained anymore.”

If someone can’t understand the connection between constant disrespect toward developers and abandoned projects, then trying to convince them will only hit a wall of denial, usually hidden behind the excuse of “I’m poor, so I deserve it for free.”

Reading through the comments here, I realized this story repeats constantly:
A developer releases a free version later - someone leaks it anyway - the dev adds protection - people crack the game and hate the dev for protecting it - motivation drops - project dies.

It’s a pattern we’ve seen many times.

And honestly, looking at how this discussion turned out, it feels like we’re slowly drifting into that “Idiocracy” reality.

But this is a piracy forum. Everyone understands that. This is like going to a killing people convention and saying we shouldn't kill people. We're here to do that man, and we understand every implication of that.

The truth also is, it's entirely possible to produce a product so good that you keep raking in money despite piracy. The motivation has to be internal, and spending time fending off attackers with infinitely more time and resources than you is wasted effort. Even then, if the dev was serious about it, he'd just grab a Denuvo license like Fallen Doll and actually put his issue to bed. Otherwise you keep your head down and you keep working.

I dunno why I wrote this tbh but this convo feels pointless. I've been working on my own stuff. I have a niche audience. Surely my own works will be leaked on this site one day, but when that happens whatever, there's greater things to work on.

I would love to read more about the pregnancy system that was mentioned previously! I am still on the fence about playing this game. Been waiting patiently for the pregnancy aspect. Is it just cut scenes still or is there more immersion with the sex?

As of now it's just a cutscene on the Evolution Path.

nobody here is telling anyone not to support or even harass the dev. i think the general consensus is that people should support if they can. Its just we want to discuss the actual game rather than be told why we should pay the dev a monthly subscription every other post when hes clearly only making things harder for his supporters. You should heed your own advice of “if it needs to be explained, then it doesn’t need to be explained anymore.”

Honestly while some virtue signaling is ok, this is literally a forum for pirated games.

Most of the people browsing this will not feel inclined to pay the dev however much it is on patreon/subscribestar etc etc, some will feel inclined but it'll be a much lower amount and it will depend on their good will and how good the game is and if they feel like it'll be worth it.

P.S: This is not me saying harrasing the dev is good, it's an asshole move but when looking at shit going on in the world and social media, not surprised some people went that way, stupid people.

Any normal game on steam costs 10-20$, I understand what I'm paying for, unfortunately I'm not rich enough to give 15$ per month, if I could donate 20$ and get a permanent subscription there would be no questions. This is my side as a poor consumer, except that my country is under sanctions to do something for dollars.
I hope the game will be released and I will be able to purchase this product at an appropriate price.
The game is promising, the setting is pleasant, and everything is more or less intuitive, even without instructions

P.S. I am against copying or "passing off as your own" work by the developer and similar actions.
P.S.S. I understand why the developer has this policy, so I will be able to support him if he reconsidered the payment for the poor community.
P.S.S.S. People who complain about the developer's actions - he doesn't owe anyone anything, but there is such a thing as reputation - after all, he releases free builds, there is a delay, but bad people are trying to steal them, as I understand and do not condemn the developer
P.S.S.S.S I became a pirate because of some developers who were too greedy, both famous and unknown, so some stupid people need to understand this, but I always support good products with my coin

ok so if this repeats.... why do devs who know it will b cracked still do it then? if they get money stopping development on a source of income is not a way to make them gain more supporters this is literally backwards thinking

oh look guys im being harrassed and its so bad i will stop working on what u guys are paying me to work on but b sure to keep paying me and to keep supporting when i come back where i can randomly spiral into negativity again and stop working on it later at which point keep supporting me guys

like when do we say the devs are at fault for wasting time on a literaly time waste which tends to more easily lead to burnout?
good devs with good games quite literally embrace piracy to a certain degree because they know nothing can be done about it
hakita with ultrakill being the best example of this

Finally played this game.

I would give this a 3/5.

There's another game that has a somewhat similar concept but it's about werewolves experiment gone wrong on a spaceship. The two are a bit similar but I think both suffer from the same issue: the sex scenes are limited and somewhat bad. Like there's a lot of work left to be done for this to be a proper sex game.

I understand the game is WIP so it's unfair to be critical of an unfinished product but hopefully the dev plans to work towards producing better scenes and animations. I hate that those tentacles that jump you in vents don't have a sex scene if you fail to get away in time. You just die lol. There's also a couple similar missed opportunities where there's no sex scene or it happens off screen. Like dude it's a sex game let us see it !

I will not touch this again until v.0.8 or something as the content is lacking sex wise.

0 new content. Just mechanic and visual upgrade. Don't waste time
Yeah, honestly I liked it a bit more how it was previoulsy when you were knocked by infection and you were restrained to the wall + the animations.
Now at 0 mental we just get the Path of Evolution and before that she just wakes up normally.
