Luxee playing 4d chess to stop pirates from getting the game. Also Liked Ada route except the cop scene which felt very out of place. and whats with all the people crying, literally just dont install the patch and boom your free.

No need to trash the game or dev based on a character. It's just a singular aspect that needs to be changed. Everything else is just fine

seems like i'm again in minority when it comes to last few updates. it just feels so lazy made,without too much effort in it,it's best seen in sex scenes which are bland and feel like they're just randomly threw in just because there needs to be some,cop scene for example here. i still think 0.5 or 0.6 was the last good update,everything after that feels too rushed or too memed. don't know what to expect from harem now,it should be the best route but seeing how quickly other routes ended and how underwhelming they were i'm rather indifferent than hyped.
i understand that this game is far from being serious like some of the most popular VN's,but it would be so much better if it was,early build up and tensions between Ada and especially Elly showed that dev knew how to do the things that way.
also,i still think developing completely new game in the middle of the development of PL pretty much meant start of the ending of it. to me drop of quality started from that point...

If it were actually a case where the developer put elements into the game that were illegal in a large number of countries, then I think it would be fair to trash both the game and the dev. This would especially be the case if they didn't even bother to warn people of said illegality. We're not just talking about "is that character really 18?" It's a case of it seeming to be expressly stated by the character herself that she was well underage.
However, this wasn't the case here according to the research the moderators did. The illegal content was added by a third-party patch. But the post you were quoting was made prior to that knowledge being made public, so I would say their post was valid given the information known at the time, and in light of past concerns over the appearance of characters in the developer's games.

Humm, i don't remember there was such discussion about age character in ecchi sensei...
I think it's a fair assessment. The developer really wants to make their other game, but was committed to PL. They tried to get their supporters on board with switching to the new game, or at least alternating with that one, but PL won out. So the focus became in wrapping up PL. It's not exactly being forced out of the door, but I think we are getting an abbreviated version of it that is more visual novel and less game with the last few updates. There's still a lot of quality there, along with some questionable choices here and there. At least we're getting closure in this game before the developer moves on to something else, so kudos to them for that and maintaining interest in this game for that long once the new game became their obsession. But I'd have liked to see how things might have played out had the new game never been a factor. Presumably it would have gone slower, with more girls possibly, or more paths. But right now I think we're getting the best we can hope for, and it's honestly pretty good, all things considered.

It's simple. If you want Ada to be 18, don't marry her. If you don't want any Ada scenes, don't play with the patch, or don't go after her.
I find it funny that people are worried about Ada's age being illegal, when nobody talks about incest being illegal.

You're saves should still be in your appdata folder, if you want someone to share their save with you then you should say what route/path you want harem, wife, etc, etc
It's less to do with the legal status of her age in this case, and more to do with the moral/ethical implications.
Her content can be interpreted as having shades of grooming to it whereas Elly's doesn't.
Elly and Jenna are both consenting adults, despite the unusual nature of the sexual relations.
