The problem, time and time again, is that the payment processors that sites use are the problem. Patreon was supposed to be a work-around under the theory that they weren't REALLY a payment processor they were just some uh microcredit bullshit or something, so by bundling the payments they could avoid the 1:1 checks on what exactly it was that people were patronizing. But basically all the patreon fuckups in the last couple months have been them admitting they're really a payment processor, and that they couldn't scale, and that they had pretty stupid solutions for pretty obvious problems. All along, shit like incest was supposed to be banned, but when they weren't getting scrutiny over the flailing financials, it was under teh radar. Now their VCs are going over the books and the folks like Visa, whose backend patreon has to use, is like WTF SISTER FUCKERS NO WAY.We should start a site like patreon where u can upload what u like. I wouldn't care what people complained about , cause my answer is simple " u don' like it , don' download it "
Something like bitcoin could have been the answer, but bitcoin is deflationary and has less purchasing power at most places than MTG cards, so that's out.
