Look man, my main concern is that you've had that pic up for ages on the front, and it still contains girls who aren't in yet. Even as you entirely remake the game to be something totally different?
If you're going to change things, change the title card. Right now you're telling people that if they download your game they get to fuck Gwen Tennyson and Tsuyu Asui, and even with the girlpack installed they can't.
As I said before and you didn't seem to notice, I really don't give a fuck about this game's relation or lack thereof to Brothel King. You're not obligated to accept that criticism, but you're also not obligated to spend a pages worth of replies bickering with the dumbass who invented it.
Now, having played both versions, I can say that I'm enjoying .40 way more than .40.1; .40.1 seemed very bland and had a lot of unfinished feeling features, the girls weren't interesting or sexy, and even when I used the girlpack to replace them they weren't who I wanted nor did they even really feel like the girls I did know. I dunno if that's just a problem with the Teen Titans girls or not, but Starfire and Raven felt like... I dunno. Samey. It was like porn game oatmeal.
.40 though feels like it has a lot of character, even if it was clunky, and not always intuitive. I wouldn't say the girls are well-integrated into the setting or whatever, but they felt like themselves, and they just sorta vibed better with the MC. It helps that I knew them all already, whereas with .40.1 I either didn't know most of the faces in the girlpack, or they were Honey Select OCs which are always hard for me to link to. I lacked connection with them, and it made me feel way more invested in actually reading the writing in .40 than in the latest update.
In fact, the games seemed so different I'm suspecting a mistake has been made somewhere? Like it went from a generic if pretty funny and in-character harem smut VN to... Girls standing in a hallway, not even really looking like they belong there just PNGs over another PNG. It feels wildly different and not in a good way.
I would advise you, going forward, to remember the full idiom "The Customer is always right in matters of taste." This doesn't mean you need to abandon development because some guy decided you stole code from, like, Fate/Stay Night or whatever. It doesn't mean you need to burn your vision down to accommodate a vocal group of dumbasses who want an openworld fantasy RPG with titty physics instead. It doesn't even mean you need to listen to the legitimate criticisms. BUT, you should be aware that when people are saying "I don't like this", they're being totally honest and they are completely correct.
When people say they don't like something, it means they don't like it.
Decisions to do something people dislike should be made with rather more caution and understanding than I'm getting from your posts. Because at the end of the day, the reason you're putting this project on the internet is for people to appreciate it. The reason people are on this forum is to find something they appreciate. You should, on at least some level, have the goal of being appreciated for what appears to be a GREAT DEAL of hard work.
If what's going on is a misunderstanding, focus on clearing it up. If what's going on is a stylistic conflict, rectify the styles. If what's going on is just people complaining, point them to something more to their taste. But don't waste time engaging in head-bashing against brick walls, because all you'll wind up with is a concussion and a slightly uglier brick wall.
