Im guessing that they want to sync up with their animations and gameplay when they improve in the story of the game, since its not yet a fully voiced out plot wise, and it needs more lore to the game.

In version 1.8 it is impossible to interact with machines. You press interaction and nothing happens, but you can't move. Also, the text is not displayed when you talk to the computer.
With the amount of game-breaking bugs each iteration introduces, you'd think the dev would switch over to Unity.
Appreciate all the efforts going into fixing all these bugs (no pun intended). Game dev is never easy... without paid testers, without detailed bug report, without QA controller, you can only work with what you've got.
On top of that, working on new contents, keeping people engaged, and after getting shafted by VA too...
Keep up the effort. If I'd be able to fix my life as progressively as you guys fixing these bugs, I'd be able to offer a huge donation just to see your project go to the finish line with a sequel planned post release.

Game is simply too buggy to be recommended if I'm honest, if you get rid of the game breaking bugs along with some other problems like having to manually limit your game so it wont eat your GPU this game would actually be decent

It is possible but it seems like the UI is just not rendering at all, despite still being interactable. You can exit out of the menus with C, and with stuff like cooktops you can still make meals.
There is also the fact that some machines require you to have a perk unlocked to use them, like a perk for using terminals or blocked off areas.
Or a perk to fix broken workstations.
Helloes Is that by me or the last (1.8) version not appearing the panels when try to upgrade or start engine communicate with the ai at the start of the mission?

While those are some good bug fixes, they broke the display of the interactables like cooking stove, workbench and other types that is supposed to have a display popping up when interacting with it.
And the status display is broken in its animation cause its no longer animated for some reason.

Dont you love it when theres new content and a few bug fixes, and then an entire fucking ocean worth of bugs?
Seriously it feels like every bug fix / update just makes the game more buggy than it was
