It's scrapped as its outdated.
That, or they not sure if they want to have that being part of the game, since some outdated content does get added to the game, but as a reworked game mechanic.

the bugs now get even more HP the more you upgrade your Weapons ? they're almost fking unkillable.....And I hate the Hypno octopus.
Why upgrade weapon then? Is that really how the scaling work?
Why is there scaling in the first place, how long has it been in the game?!

i feel like some weapons are just bugged, i upgraded the assault rifle's dmg to the max and a full clip could barely kill one of those basic crab aliens, felt like the bullets were just not connecting or something
I can't help but upgrade the weapons instinctively.....bad habit of mine .....pretty sure it's not scaling but the ammo dmg getting lower.
Not in yet, but I brought up being interested in seeing this in the game eventually a while back and the dev gave it a thumbs up, so I imagine it's just a matter of finding a way to rework it and get the time to put it in.

i havent tested it properly or anything but just some i guess, i upraded the basic pistol's dmg twice and it was 2 shotting the crab aliens consistently so it's either weapon specific or when u max the upgrade
Same but i really hate the one waiting outside one of the nest if you end up in it.
Its a mini boss type, so either kill it or don't.
The most problem with it is that once their hypnosis animation starts, you have to kill it if you want to avoid getting send to the nest.
Most annoying about them is that they take longer to take down if you don't have a upgraded damage or they are defended by a horde of mobs infront of it.

yeppp still there, trying out a playthro on hard and the pistol was doing pretty good until i tried to upgraded it to max damage, also a description for the special upgrades would be nice like i can figure out "AP bullets" means armor piercing (whatever that does) but what about HP bullets, i'm not sure about that one
