Guessed as much so I started 4 new games since, each one getting locked at a different point. Right now I'm in an infinite loop again the bug man. Stuck in the rape animation with no way to get out. I have not seen a single new enemy from the ones that were present in 1.7. And I'm starting to think none have been added, especially since I don't see any name I don't recognize in the save editor (which I don't know how to use to modify the saves for this game but at least I can look through names).
So I'd like to ask, can anyone share a save with a completely unlocked gallery which includes the supposed new animations ?
Because frankly, playing through to get unlocks seems like a waste of time

Yeah you're cooked, no fixing it unless you wanna replace your GPU.
TLDR: dev can't be bothered to make his game optimized, and that's the result my friend

Dev actually tried to fix a lot of things in the last few updates. The game overall is much more optmized than before and atleast a bit playable, this is for sure. Although there's a lot to improve

True that he fixes a lot of stuff but in no scenario a game THIS simple in graphics should somehow make someone run out of VRAM, I mean for god sake it's a pixel game, unless fox has a REALLY old GPU from like 2010 like a GTX 580 or something this shouldn't happen
it possible graphics settings are incorrect, windows is set to use the integrated graphics instead (or an automatic thing done on battery power or airplane mode), or using the graphics card for something else in addition to playing the game. All of those would be outside of the ability of the game to support.
Interesting concept but janky with game breaking bugs. Pun not intended.
The controls feel really awkward and I got a random black screen which never came back to normal even though it wasn't a game over.

Does this not work anymore? have the latest version of the game and latest version of your table.
It seems like weapon upgrades are still really broken. I started a new game; the pistol was level 5 and couldn't be upgraded, and the flamethrower constantly resets. I'll try deleting the save files and hope that works, I guess.
Game has the potential to be one of the best, if it does the below:
- Fixes the numerous bugs, freezes, etc
- light/torch for dark areas, especially for the h-scenes
- zoom functionality

For anyone who's stuck at the very end and can't finish the demo:
Once you collect the hyperlink terminal, you need to repair it at a research bench before it can be used. I don't know if you need to do anything to trigger the repair option to appear (I think I had to run the "Find new research item" first, but I'm not 100% on that). You can then head to the airlock you entered from and take off, no self-destruct necessary,
EDIT: You may also need the tier 3 Repair ability unlocked (again, not 100% on that).
EDIT 2: Just restarted to test, and this time the hyperlink terminal spawned in already repaired, so that might be a randomized thing. Still worth checking for "Repair [quest item]" options at the research bench if you're stuck.

Jellyfish added. Now, when pollution becomes severe in the harbor area, jellyfish will spawn.
Jellyhead added. Jellyfish can parasitize the survivor’s brain and target other victims.
Safe Zone building feature updated. Still under development.
Added survivor moans and pain voices. Modified survivor interaction methods.
Bug Fixes
Modified the method of loading in-game objects. Overall frame rate has improved.
Complete removal of the Nanite function.
