Patch 2.1.1 has been released, fixing numerous bugs, so don't say the developers are idle. They're working hard and listening very carefully to user bug reports.
Can you post it? 2.1 has a glitch where every time you sleep 8 days pass, which breaks certain thingsPatch 2.1.1 has been released, fixing numerous bugs, so don't say the developers are idle. They're working hard and listening very carefully to user bug reports.
Are safe zones even good for anything? I only used them to sleep and to make NPCs search for items at research terminal though those items arent worth it, just 6xp and a few components for which you need to run across half the map. You can get more just by going to some area where girls pop out larvae and killing them there. Every structure sees to be in need of power and there doesnt seem to be any way to generate it. Yet they still consume resources if you donate them while providing nothing in return.Safe Zone Reset: Fixed an issue where safe zone structures and buildings reset after loading, causing power outages and softlocks.
Press Esc- there's a help entry in the menu there. The dev needs to put the fucking controls back on the walls in the new version. WHAT THE FUCK. Can't change weapons, can't do shit really without spamming keys. Why would you make a game with NO CONTROL SCHEME EXPLAINED. And apparently 60 rounds with a revolver wont kill the fucking fly creature in the police station
Um, where is the patch itself?PASEC 2.1.1 patch uploaded
Version 2.1.1 Update Notes:
NPC and Interaction Fixes
Jellyfish Proximity Bug: Fixed an issue where Survivor NPCs would disappear upon contact with gas-emitting jellyfish.
Breeding Deletion Bug: Resolved a bug where Manfly NPCs were deleted when attacked by crabs during breeding, making encounters unnecessarily difficult.
Fly Attack Behavior: Corrected an issue where flies would stop and attack from outside melee range. Implemented suggested swooping attack behavior for improved engagement.
NPC Pickup Near Doors: Fixed a bug where NPCs near doors or elevators could not be picked up due to interaction priority being given to the door. Enlarged pickup hitbox as suggested.
NPC Follow/Interaction Post-Load: Resolved issues where NPCs would not follow or interact after loading a save. Fixed specific cases where Police Girl and Scientist Girl failed to interact or follow post-respawn in elevators. Affinity retention is now consistent.
NPC Mini-Mission Issue: Fixed an issue where affinity missions sent NPCs to unreachable locations. Changed NPC interaction key to 'T' (dialogue) as suggested.
Crab Drag Issue: Fixed a bug where crabs dragging companion NPCs would get stuck, appearing to hit an invisible wall.
Graphics and Visual Fixes
Manfly Health Bar: Fixed an issue where the Manfly health bar was only visible during melee attacks.
Sprite/Texture Errors: Resolved multiple issues including invisible player sprites during sleep events (only lower body visible when aiming), low-resolution jellyfish attack textures, and enemies hiding behind textures post-escape.
Black Screen Issue: Fixed a random black screen bug where only the UI was visible, often triggered after elevator or camera console interactions. Resolved across all graphic settings (Best to Low). Likely caused by player camera position errors.
Manfly Flamethrower Immunity: Fixed an issue where the third Manfly was immune to flamethrower damage, including a triple-hit bug that occurred once.
Sarah Heartbeat Error: Resolved an issue where Sarah’s heartbeat was always in a hit state, with effects applied multiple times.
Save/Load and System Fixes
Safe Zone Reset: Fixed an issue where safe zone structures and buildings reset after loading, causing power outages and softlocks.
Date Skip on Sleep: Corrected a bug where sleeping skipped 8 days (e.g., 1→8→16). Implemented planned change to increase sleep duration based on trauma levels.
New Feature: Hiding System
Added new hiding system with the following interactable objects:
Under beds
Inside cabinets
Inside trash cans
Players can now use Press "UP" key for these objects to hide from enemies, enhancing stealth gameplay.
Thanks. I'll check that outPress Esc- there's a help entry in the menu there.
I've found a Mega link on Star's Fanbox (thank you, Kemono) for v. 2.1.1.Um, where is the patch itself?
Or you just have a slightly different perception of what constitutes a "bug" than the rest of us do. Which is fine, I suppose, though it does make you seem a fair bit less...observant, you know? And trust me, as a guy who's worked on a few programming projects thus far (including one or two games) I can definitely state that this game is a buggy mess! I would list some common bugs you've no doubt seen just to give examples, but I honestly cannot be bothered... I am lazy like that.I keep seeing y'all talk about a billion and one bugs I've not seen head or hair of. Y'all got some jank ass pcs or my low end just handles it better somehow lol. Worst I've had is a visual bug or two that I've been able to fix pretty easily.
Literally none of the bugs I've encountered has any reason to be cause by a "jank ass pc". I've seen everything from:I keep seeing y'all talk about a billion and one bugs I've not seen head or hair of. Y'all got some jank ass pcs or my low end just handles it better somehow lol.
