I wanted to write a review for the game, but I think at this stage of development it would be premature. It is barely a first draft. The art is not developed enough for a profitable offering, and the coding shows a veritable continent for improvement. But the developer has been transparent with his intentions on the project, so there is that.
There are some clever ideas and intelligent construction here, too, as well as some vision and passion. To proceed with this level of art ability shows courage - and I don't mean that insultingly. These things are all fundemental for at least getting a game initialized - as this developer has. And I believe that if the developer had access to a talented artist, he would have utilized that. The same goes for a dedicated coder. Because their absence is obvious.
And so therein lies the catch-22: this developer will need funding to afford an artist and/or coder. As things stand without those persons, the game is unlikely to receive many sponsors.
I would advise the developer to carry on and seek out an artist and a coder who have enthusiasm. I don't have high hopes, but I'd like to see this game try again with good art, UI, and bug-free playability.
