This may be a little off topic but does anyone else here use this website partly cause the original artist makes it annoying to download their work?

Like pasta for example, have to download a zip file that has a pdf that has a link to a mega or google drive that actually has the real download. I get it's probably to make it harder to pirate but... look where we all are LOL

Compared to this website or kemono where it's just a one click download. Idk i just thought that was funny

There are far more convoluted ways to prevent the pirating. Some artists make it truly not worth even paying attention to their content with the lengths they go to clamp down on "leaks." Pasta's is completely manageable.

Yeah, of course, atleast pasta's is just a mild inconvenience, anytime I see "join the discord for access" or "send me a message for the link" i die a little inside LOL

Probably preventing bots automatically downloading it on those thousands of wordpress ads-laden sites. I think they cares about people profitting from it than pirating it tbh. They also sometimes upload their stuff on Iwara.
