I really hate to say it, but I'm afraid that all people inventing various cunning plans how to fool Patreon are missing the point. The "step" approach went down in flames immediately. Now we have the hiding game with secret codes and patches. If some of that is done by author, it's doomed as soon as Patreon finds out about it. So independent naughty hackers to the rescue? Or completely different (fake) project for Patreon and quietly making the original elsewhere?
Imagine yourself in their place. For whatever reason (business, morals, ...) you want to make Patreon clean. Would you tolerate people trying to fool you like this? Not for long. Any of these "solutions" are nothing that they couldn't imagine themselves. Forums like this, where it's possible to easily find the true nature of any game, are not that hard to find either. And if you want it easy, just bribe
@Ignazzio to switch sides and Patreon would be completely clean in a week (don't do it!).
But "naughty hackers" approach should still work, they can't prove if it's really them or game author, right? No, because they don't have to prove anything. "Hey, we're very sorry, but your game attracts bad crowd and even though we believe you that it's not your fault, it makes us look bad to be associated with that, so we regretfully have to close your account. Nothing personal, we wish you good luck elsewhere and good bye!"
Elsewhere is the key here, we just have to find the right one.
