There are 22. You need to find all of the magazines. The last one you can buy from the general store a.

I completed every quest I could find.

I loaded a save file listed above here and there are four magazines in the inventory, but there's still only 17 animations when I go to see Lila.

I am not sure what the trigger is, but I started the general store quest when I saw the ice-cream man talking to one of the guards near the sundial thing. The quest name is "classified information".

the numerous bugs where the game hardlocks you during quests, and not even Loading back a save can fix it?
like in the bedroom scene after the woods section. The dialogue used to bug out and prevent you from progressing, loading the save just made the game permanently stuck
it's been a known bug for a while, I'm hoping it doesn't happen again

Yeah, we’ve been working on polishing the game, improving both performance and stability. Future updates should run a lot smoother.

You can unlock the general store by finishing the Ice Cream Cart and Classified Information quests first, they’re the ones with Hugo and Vinnie.

Did any new titjob scenes get added in the recent updates?

I tried over and over to trigger that, but the ice cream guy is never at the sundial. I went day after day after day after day, but he's never there. I completed all the other quests with him.

Yeah that quest might be bugged. Did you try to talk to the "hungry girl" who is near the sundial multiple times?

She was only ever there once.
