There a hints for all the quests to find. Just talk with the grey strangers or look for differences for poeple which werent there before.
How do you explain having a better PC as me and having more Problems as me ? is it really only the games fault? I even replayed the whole game again cause of the quest bug in the end before i knew its a bug.Still nothing for me. Not a single blackscreen not a single reboot nothing. I had 2-3times fps drops here and there but that was for seconds and fixed itsef right away
Never said its a perfect finished game, obviously were playing a beta here which needs polishing. All im saying is this game is by far not as buggy and janky as the pople are claiming here.
Edit: We have so much garbage on this site which noone cares about. Why is it that every game with a bit of Quality gets judged like theyre made by and Triple A studio and made for everyone in the world?
No one here is randomly shitting on the game. All the critique is oriented to making it better. If you think it's good the way it is, then OK, good for you. Not everyone wants to spend time randomly wandering around in a game with poor optimization, hoping they stumble onto quests before they lag out. I hadn't touched this game for a year and a half, and my last play session with it reminded me why. The recommendations people are making have nothing to do with it being a triple a studio or not. You can optimize a 3D game without a million dollar budget.
Also, that's the thing about optimization--games work fine on some systems, and not as well on others, regardless of specs sometimes. It's the dev's job to figure out what's causing the issues. If it were a Ren'py game, I could probably solve optimization for it myself, as I know what mistakes devs make in that engine that cause their games to lag. I'm not as willing to cut devs slack on things like that because I'm somewhat familiar with how to resolve these issues on some platforms, and the fixes are usually pretty simple if you're not running cutting-edge graphics and lighting with realtime physics.
As far as quests, the game gives the impression early on that all quests will pop up in the quest log, not that you have to go around spamming random areas for NPCs to get them. Maybe I misunderstood that point, but if that's the expectation then it'll probably be quite some time after the next release before I give the game another look if the next patch runs like that.
