At one point when I go home at night, the little dairy is floating in the air, the lights are blinking and I can't get over that conversation. It goes "Hello" then "..." over and over again.

You might not be locked. I am playing through my own save at the moment, trying to find the new books, but I noticed the game made me have to play through two already completed quests all over again, and I'll report on that when I finish. When I started running through the update, there was nothing I could do, but sleeping for a couple days until the weekend sparked a new quest to start, which started everything else to move ahead. The quests I had to repeat, despite them already being in my "complete" section, was the one with Ellie trying her new baseball uniform, and the one where you are supposed to give Raven a newspaper. I re-finished Ellie's, and am now seeing if the game will let me re-finish Raven's, because one of the other commenters said that one of the new sex books for Lila is around the guard station....So, this is where I'm at and can't progress.
I assume that I'm bugged but as i only have 2 prior saves to this I'd have to pretty much redo the whole thing.
Does anyone have a saved file close to these little achievements or at the very least knows if i redo the thing won't be stuck again in this spot?

The bugs are still beyond frustrating. If I knew how to code, I'd offer my services to fix this mess.
same here, and I forgot to save my advances my last save was 4hs of gameplay before, I'm screwed

Same place I'm softlocked. It's the little fairy coming back again, it loops forever if you keep pushing enter.
this game is promising but the worst jank i've seen, hope they patch the fairy bug cause i am really invested in seeing more of them.
