Is Reanne Slavic? I always imagined her as Irish, with maybe a Derry or Belfast accent
Adaobi with Egyptian or Sudanese accent... I never really think of Zsofia's accent I know she is supposed to be Oriental, but I can't quiet see her as that so her accent is trapped in limbo with maybe a little "Love you long time" from various Vietnam movies.
Erevi as German (hard Nazi dominatrix accent)
All the Giants are Swedish (obviously)
Victoria is West London (posh) though if you listen carefully you might heard some East End in there (common)
Jenny is Texan to me with a soft honey accent (maybe Beth too)
The rest of the Village is West Country (Somerset) in my mind {ogres too... think Trolley boy from Hotfuzz}
Caleah has a soft Scottish accent (Aberdeen maybe)
Ziva always makes me think of NCIS Ziva, though I tend to think of her sounding more like Deanna Troi from Star trek
Oksana is obviously Slavic.
The giants may not be Swede but also Norwegians - so better consider them Scandinavians

Honestly I originally believed that but she comes from the Northern Tribes (which could be irish/scottish) but she calls herself a Shieldmaiden, which is a norse/slavic title for warrior women. So in my head she sounds like a mix of norse/scottish if that makes sense? It sounds hot in my head at least lol.

I always hear Adaobi in an diluted northern african accent (generic) from being around non-Dark Coninent folk for so many centuries.

Zsofia is like an american-asian japanese accent.

Erevi as German (hard Nazi dominatrix accent)
Agreed the elves are American accents. Liandra & Luthien are California, Erevi is East Coast Generic Big City, Caleah is Deep South/Cajun. :)
The way the world is described I kinda picture it kinda like Warhammer with "Greenland" "North America" being where Elves live. So I hear Elves with American accents. Liandra & Luthien are california valley girls. Erevi I agree is more generic east coast city.

Interesting about Caleah... never really heard that but might try it next time I play. See if it fits better lol.

I agree about the Giants being swedish/norse but I also hear then as slightly deeper in voice (due to being larger) & then men i hear in a weird mix of that & norse but reaaaaaaalllllly dumbed down.

Have you heard the pornstar Jasmine James? You may agree she has a very "Victoria" style way of speaking...

Jenny & all humans from the Village have more english country accents (ranging from south past London & up north), but the city folk have a mix of londoner accents.

I get the vibe that Ziva is either middle eastern or Hispanic. I hear her with a strong latin accent personay.

Also all the Goblins speak in "broken" cockney accents.

The namr "Oksana" sounds Japanese to me, despite her Slavic appearance, but her model reminds me of Dichen Lachman from Animal Kingdom (and Doll house) so I hear her voice in my head cannon

Yeah I agree Scandinavians might be the best bet considering there naming conventions, but Frida is Swedish in my head cannon so they all are :p
...though to be honest I'm not sure if I could tell the difference between a Nord and a Swede... I only know about those Swedish Milkmaid documentaries I found at the back of my dads closet as a kid... and thats a memory that stuck :D:p

Have you ever played Borderlands? The character Moxxie kinda reminds me of what you're talking about. She speaks with a sultry, posh american accent but can occasionally (very rarely in 2 & TPS) slip into her true redneck accent.

I kinda feel Victoria puts on a posh "west london" accent but occasionally slips into her real "east end" accent...

Oksana is a slavic name in origin & she has a pretty, blonde northern european look to her so yeah I have to admit I also hear her with a slavic accent.

Accents.
There was a treatise written by a pilgrim travelling in England during the middle ages.
He noted that people living as little as five or ten miles apart could hardly understand each other.
Further than that and they might as well have been from another country speaking a totally different language.
Even in my lifetime accents in some parts of the country were incomprehensible to someone from far away.
Nowadays, thanks mostly to media I think, accents tend not to be so strong as to make them incomprehensible.
In my youth I travelled around the country fishing and one day met a real life Professor Higgins while standing on a bridge overlooking the river.
He not only told me which city I hailed from but also the local area, he claimed to be able to identify most peoples origin to within a couple of miles just from the way they talked.

I suspect she was based on
There is a lot of Norse Blood in the British isles, if I remember history class correctly Vandals came from Scandinavia, down and across northern Europe and up into the British Isles, displacing most of the natives there a few hundred years after BC, then there was a multitude of Viking engagements... and anyone ever hear of the Angles or Saxons? (or even Anglo-Saxon) in short lots of connections between Celtic & Scandinavian cultures/bloodlines

Have you heard the pornstar Jasmine James? You may agree she has a very "Victoria" style way of speaking...
it's hard to hear her accent properly but I think I hear some Brummie in there (Birmingham), I hear Victoria as more like Elizabeth Hurley. Looking up her accent to try and put a name to it, it turns out thats fake too, so incredibly apt lol.

Jenny & all humans from the Village have more english country accents (ranging from south past London & up north), but the city folk have a mix of londoner accents.
Jenny is a Trader, so I imagine she started life as a traveling trader before settling down to setup shop thats the big reason why I think of her as having a different accent (Plus I really like the female texan accent).

Also all the Goblins speak in "broken" cockney accents.
I never really think of the goblins accents... I don't keep them around for their conversation :p
but I think some kind of pidgin cockney would work for them.

Yeah I get that Oksana is Slavic, but in the jumble of my mind the sound of the name
  1. evokes Okinawa to my mind
  2. makes me think of the Japanese honourifics San and Sama
  3. Sana seems to be a common name in anime. (at least to my recollection), I'm also fairly sure it is fairly common in JAV
  4. Like I said I think she looks like Dichen Lachman, she's half Tibetan (not Japanese), but she has the sweetest blend of Scandivian/Asian features, and I find it easy to imagine Oksana could be similar

The swamps are towards the south. And swamps = bayous in my head. It's not a thick accent in my head, but distinctly there. :)

Definitely Middle Eastern for me. Mesopotamian or Persian, though someone who hasn't experienced or studied them probably wouldn't recognize the difference.

Oksana (variants Oxana and Aksana) is originally Ukranian but found throughout the old USSR/Warsaw Pact now.

It's all good. I once mistook the family name "Nacarato" as Japanese rather than Italian.

As a born Brit yes I have heard of my people lol :p:ROFLMAO:

Also am I the only one who hears Rosy (& by extension Halflings) talking like their from south Wales? The soft lit to their voice I feel matches Rosy...

I've always imagined her with a Northern accent. Something like how the comedian Lucy Beaumont speaks.

Yeah now u have to get a key from a corpse near the spider Lair & use that key on the little outhouse next to the Watchtower. Now there is a few chests (some will have stuff in, others gain stuff as it is unlocked in game) & these chest refill which is cool.
I cant find corpse anywhere. Could you specify where exactly is the corpse please ?
