The game has its fair amount of grind, but to be honest it does not feel so bad and the sex scenes feel more rewarding this way. After 1 year pause, I just started the game anew and I gotta say the fighting system has improved a lot. People complaining about it being to difficult, probably never played a video game before or sth., idk. Overall the story being told is enjoyable, without the dev boring its audience to death with tedious text walls. The only problems I see:

- a lot of freezes in 2.32. He has adressed this problem on his patreon, I hope this will be remedied in the future
- the money and level grind is OK, but the potion grind feels somewhat annoying. At the beginning it felt like a good idea that you can decide for every interaction wether you want to impregnate someone or not, but by now this whole game is about impregnation. There is a way how you should simply constantly stay super fertile.
- But the really worst thing imo: This game startet promising with the slave den for the bat breeder and all, but by now this game has turned 1000% vanilla. There are no more forced scenes, not even some slight bdsm (unless its femdom), but zero dominant MC. Unfortunately I see this often in games, where there is a rough beginning and then the game turns 180° towards femdom. Either there are only simpls playing porn video games, or devs are afraid of any legal repercussions, that might arise if they keep the maledom aspect. The sex scenes by now don't befit the original intention (at least that's what I assume it must have been) any longer. Just look at the title screen of this game. Two femaldes worshipping MC. By now nothing is left of it.

Good ideas terrible execution, the user experience is terrible, every little thing needs to be confirmed multiple times, like pickups, which just adds to the already lengthy grind that is in the game. Also nothing is explained and there is no way to skip dialogues. You supposed to play it as a classic rpg and i can see it that the potential is there, but there are some weird design decision in every aspect of the game that just baffles me, like the health that doesnt regenerate after sleeping, or the absolute waste of time that are the small jobs you can do around town that just dont pay enough to even start to upgrade yourself, in order to make more money, everything is extremely expensive, consumables dont heal you enough so you literally have to waste your money on healing items that barely do anything. You have a healing spell that does absolutely nothing because the enemy does exactly the same amount of damage if not more, so if you face multiple enemies you are more likely to die. More than anything the game is just annoying to me.
Im sorry, i tried to like it, the basic idea is great, it just needs polish and user experience streamlining, and higher res renders in general.

The grinding is....rough to say the least, and you can die rather easily early on, but if you can deal with that, its a fun RPG. Just needs to be a bit more balanced, add some different modes perhaps for the players lookin less for a game n more for the porn, something like a peasant mode and a strong peasant mode, something like that maybe.

Peasant's Quest is an RPG first and a porn game, albeit an extremely expansive one with lots of content to it, second. For some potential players, this is going to be a turn-off. If you want your main character to get laid, you either need to cheat your stats or just learn the systems and play the game.

Personally, I think this is awesome. Peasant's Quest is one of the most fully fleshed out games on F95zone right now, both in terms of sexual content and in terms of gameplay. For sexual content, there are over 20 ladies to bang (each with at least one quest and sex scene, and many with multiple quests and scenes and some you can even get pregnant and have kids with!), and a ridiculous number of pretty good images. It's not the highest quality visual art you're ever going to see, but it's unique art, better than average, and pretty dang immersive.

Gameplay-wise, it plays out like a decent RPGMaker RPG, and that's true even if you were to completely ignore the sexual content. Its quests are comparatively nonlinear (though some of them do unlock progress in others, so you can't completely ignore every quest line), the combat system has some interesting tweaks like an equipment system where most of your gear is balanced against other gear rather than having a linear upgrade path, there is a bunch of ways to get money in the game (though there aren't really any get-rich-quick schemes beyond just hunting shitloads of goblins every day for a while), it has a deep alchemy system that has both gameplay effects and optional sex scene effects, and it actually has a surprising depth of characterization, story, and world-building for what on the surface looks like a pretty generic fantasy world.

It's not perfect, certainly. Some systems unlock later than I'd like (this gets to be less of a problem the more content gets implemented after these systems show up) - fast travel, poison protection, other party members. And while I do like that the equipment is balanced rather than there always being one obviously best choice, the equipment slots still feel underutilized. There are also some people out there who think it's too grindy. I feel that a little bit in the midgame (there are a few points where you need a buttload of cash and there's just no other way to get it quickly than to grind out some goblin ears), but my sense of things is that it actually fits well with the game thematically, since it's called "Peasant's Quest" and peasants traditionally have hard lives and not a lot of resources. Also, for better or for worse, it's probably a good idea to have the walkthrough open for this game. It's so big and there's so much to do that it's pretty easy to get lost or miss something you need to progress the story. Oh, and the puzzles. Yeah. Not very interesting, nothing to write home about, pretty arbitrary. These were without a doubt the biggest frustration for me, and the best reason to have access to a walkthrough.

As far as the sexual content itself goes: look at the tags, please. If one of them is a serious problem for you, might be best to skip this game. I'm totally happy with the tags and think this game rules, but I understand that it's simply not for everybody. Which...is probably fine, actually. Not everything needs to be made to suit every single person in the world's taste. People like different stuff!

Bottom line: this is a five star game through and through. The question isn't whether or not it's a good game, but whether or not it's a good game for you specifically. If you're into the tags and can accept or even enjoy (like I do) a porn game having actual gameplay, I'd strongly urge you to give this a shot. Also, if you have a few bucks to spare and have a good time with Peasant's Quest, maybe send some cash Tinkerer's way. This is a huge game and it's been in pretty consistent development for a loooong time, so I'd encourage supporting such a solid dev.

It`s the most ambitious project. Rise from the bottom to the top. MC can icrease stats, craft potions, harvest random thing in the forest, BUT can`t skip time without bed. Strongly recommend to grind enthusiasts.
Story 10/10.
Gameplay 8.5/10.
Characters 12/10.

It's very frustrating to play game with nice scenes in it. But they are not that good, to keep you play to the end and make you feel good, most part of this game is walking, fighting and farming, which is boring and exhausting. I hate to walk and walk. Why is there no option to teleport, or at least to be invisible, to not bonk into enemies every time ? Frustrating...

One of the absolute best RPGM games out there. Lots of quest and subquests to complete and lots of great awards to reap. Some quests are easy peasy others quite a challenge (as game progress and you level up). Not at all grindy. Add the fact that animations are fantastic and we have a winner. Along with Lust Epidemic and Treasure of Nadia it's absolutely brilliant! Can't wait for more content!

This is by far one of my favorite games on the site. Plenty of scenes, a wide range of characters and fetishes, decently written and just all around very addictive.

It carries an 'old school' RPG feel to it and encourages exploration etc.

If I had any complaints:
-Some of the puzzles can be a bit tedious.
-It can be a bit slow, especially at the start and quite jarring.
-Due to the large cast, you'll probably be waiting a while before you see them get the update you want.

If you like older style RPG's (and lots of sluts), give this one a go!

Goofy, overconfident, big-dicked protagonists are great; fight me on it. The setting for this game is nice, albeit very simple. The art style isn't quite my favorite but the fetishes, huge array of content, and good bits of story behind each character more than make up for it. Right away I'll point out the cons I have for this one; it's grindy as hell for most characters, the combat is frustrating early on, and having no main direction to lead you through easy-hard content is pretty frustrating at first. Even so, there is plenty of sex scenes and rewarding moments to compensate you for your time and effort. And ho-boy if you have a pregnancy fetish at all, or monster stuff, or even just some hyper-realism; this has got you covered. There are girls to cover a whole range of interests and fetishes and lots of side content/characters to enjoy as well. I would suggest trying this one out as long as you don't mind the grinding or frustrating parts too much. 5/5 please don't forget to save very often or you'll accidentally die and lose like 3 hours of progress i'm warning you seriously

Good monster girl game with very good storytelling. the only bad thing i can think of this game is the shortness of storylines. again, story is written very well but it's just too short. i think the storyline and character arc should be more complex and long. i know it's an adult game and we really shouldn't expect much character arc and storylines but still, we play these games for story too.

Excellent! Gripping story, lovely characters, old school enjoyable RPG, a lot of content and nice gameplay. When these are combined, a great game emerges.I just ran into a few bugs not important bugs.

I just do not understand why devs keep adding their shit puzzles in such games. They are not funny. Not interesting. Not obvious. Same as most of the quests, when you have absoultely 0 chance to complete it without guide

You know, some of the renders are bad, the best are just OK. There is some animation but not enough. All the things that are annoying in the RPG Maker games are there also. However by some kind of dark magic, that is beyond my understanding, this game manages to be better than most games out there. It might be the good pace, might be some thing else, but this game has where it counts.

I'll be real with you I played this for 5 hours and never got to any of the animated scenes. The scenes in this game are static and boring and the gameplay itself is decent but suffers from a boring storyline. I'm not sure why the reviews are this high when this game is just ok at best.

Update: It's been almost 2 years since I wrote my review and I've gone back to play this game - Man it is wonderful now. A lot more animations have been added, and they have almost all been implemented in such a way that you can repeat them for as long as you want until you close the scene. Some of the scenes have multiple camera angles (but none have multiple poses...). These were the #1 and #2 complaints I had in my original review so it's great to see them resolved.

A bit more story has been added too, albeit not in the direction I would be adding it in personally... Dev seems to be fleshing outward vs concluding... which is fine I guess, he seems to be doing a good job with it, but I worry he's reaching the boundaries of how much broadness can be crammed into a game without making it overbearing. Regardless, it's not quite there yet, so I wouldn't worry about it as a player.

The only complaint I could give this game today is sometimes you need a guide to tell you EXACTLY what to do (more detailed than the in-game hints). It's fine. I don't love it but that's one complaint in a game that does almost EVERYTHING else at top-tier levels.

Cool game with enough content to keep you playing for a while. Story is pretty nice too. Really low grinding for a Rpg Maker game. The semi-linear plot makes it enjoyable to play through. The dev manages to outdo himself each update.

Been supporting this project on patreon for over a year now, and it is well worth it. The story is nice, sex scenes are great and hell I even like the gameplay overall. And is continously evolving, with roughly a big/decent update very 1/2 months. If you are able, support this guy!

Great game plenty to keep you busy (in multiple ways) and not actually a grind fest like similar games of this genre, best part is no forced NTR. My only real complaint is that the updates take forever and they usually don't have as much content as you like.

I don't think the dev ever actually played an RPG before. The in-game economy has more grind than mobile free-to-play games. Constant blue balling. I don't know if is the limitations of RPGMaker but there is severe stuttering, menu's upon menu's, unintuitive UI design, drawn out interfacing by making everything interaction a double click, long delays when just trying to skip ahead. I don't feel like continuing, overall it is just bad.
