you need torch to make some monster appear if you turned the lighting effect off. if torch in cave cant fix your problem you may need to manually to turn them on by using cheat debug mode line S1161-1170.

Others reported this issue cause they are playing the latest game with an outdated cheat mod, like Lain's mod.
It's not a bug uninstall teh cheatmod and you should be fine

aways check lain's mod version it should follow the game version and don use it on any new version of the game or out dated version. if you can't wait to cheating around then try cheat manu plugin so far as i using it with no problem on any rpg mv game and any new version just released.

if she said that mean you already have one at the dungeon go to basement check if bb there. you can try turn lighting effect to offsave at outside the bat cave then enter you may see 1 or 2 bb if not reload until you saw 1, if the map without anything go sleep until next day or maybe a weeks, but the bat cave inner will respawn everyday there are always 1 bb with the bat creature alpha male... your save file maybe corrupted try save on a new slot don over write.
