It's also possible that the spell can't be applied localized.

I would rather have more shapeshifting content than the ability to "localized enlarge".
He's been able to partially shapeshift both himself(centaur) and others(spider lady losing her arachnid form). I'd say that counts as localized, even if the first one was an accident.

I'd rather not, frankly I disliked the whole centuar thing in the first place. Just being able to magic up instead of using potions all the time is fine and less tedious.

I feel shapechanging in battle could be cool. Like MC becomes a Troll or something. That could be really interesting (mabey taking certain DMG or after an amount of time he reverts)
I'd like to imagine each transformation would come with it's own advantages and disadvantages, like becoming a troll would grant big boost to Strength and Endurance (along with gaining health regeneration), but give a huge minus to speed and intelligence (and remove the ability to use magic for the duration).

The spider was already a Were-Spider she just didnt know it so that's a blurred situation to me. How much of that was MC's magic or just him triggering her natural ability. Interesting thought experiment tho. I would assume therianthropy is a weird subject in this world (as Tinkerer based it on white Wolf's Werewolf: The Apocalypse)

That would be cool. What other forms would MC take? This could be really fun. Some ideas:

•Troll: boost in STR & END at cost of speed & Inteligence (no magic).
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
•Giant Spider: boost in Speed & Attack chance with Poison % on attacks. But less DMG.

Outside of battle MC could turn into a Bird tro shorten travel time between maps.

Not sure about Regeneration cos Trolls havnt shown that to my knowladge, unless I missed something?
I don't know about Tinkerers interpretation, but regeneration is pretty much cannon for all Trolls I've encountered across Games/Books.

I'm not awake enough right now to brainstorm specific creatures, but if Tinkerer implements something like this, doing it in levels might be best
for example Boars/Bears/Trolls might all be examples of Tanks, Boars = lvl1 tanks, costing 1x energy per turn, Bears = Lvl2 tanks costing 2x Energy per turn, Trolls = lvl3 tanks costing 3x Energy per turn.

Other creatures might be tabled by special ability (like poison)...
GatorBeasts would be a cool creature, I imagine they should have high resistance to most things plus their natural armor

Same but that's something that was specifically started by D&D I have seen games, films & stories where Trolls dont have regen. Especially stories that depict them as a type of Faeries or closer to their Norse roots. I dont think they regen, surely if they did that would be something we would see in combat right?

PQ trolls do regenerate HP. Unknown if they can regenerate missing body parts, though.

Well D&D is the benchmark for most of these types of creatures, As far as I know there isn't anything firm about "trolls" in "real" folklore, the term is often used interchangeably with orges, gnoles... and all manner of "lumpy monsters".

I can't say I remember playing any games that didn't have Troll regen, books are a bit more haphazard. (More scope for artistic license)

PQ doesn't have that level of mechanic though does it... I'm curious if Tinkerer will ever elaborate on his vision for trolls.

Why isn't there any affection cheat for Obeah? Does her affection is coded differently from other girls? Maybe because linked to the quest to go take her back if decreased too much? Then why not a cheat option just for her to stop decrease only the affection of that attention wh.re?

Other questions regardings kids. Looks like you always have to breed orcs to keep a good amount of them, I guess they die because they fight too much, right? At some point they even had to recall the orcs from the well because population was decreasing. Damn savages.

But what about the vampires and the gargoyles? I'm a bit lost because in the book of girls sometimes they say one of the vampire has xxx amount of kids then sometimes it disappear like if she had none. Does gargoyles also decay over time? What's the reason? Defending the castle?

It's a repeatable quest that only happens when her Affection gets too low, that's why the Affection Cheat doesn't work on her. It's a deliberate design choice by the dev to have a girl that demands more of the MC's attention than others do. As of v3.22 her Affection goes down slower after the first time you bring her back, without needing the cheat, but it does still decrease if you don't bang her on the regular. Or you could always use Awe on her before her Affection gets too low.

Goblins, not orcs. There are no orc waifus (...yet...). Goblin society is violent, they go raiding and also fight among themselves, so there's a daily chance a goblin gets killed. The more goblins you have the greater the chance someone gets gacked. The solution is to keep the females preggers. And visiting your goblin wives is a good time to use Awe on Obeah. ;)

I'm not aware of any "death mechanic" for them like there is for goblins. There's no limit on gargoyles, but only 9 gargoyle sprites for each of the vampiresses.

Dont dont beleive Gargoyles have a death mechanic. There are 9 sprites each (27 Gargoyles on show in total) but the births are infinite. Like the Imp the number just keeps going up indefinitely for each & every Gargoyle they birth. It's possible you're experience some kind of coding bug/error?

I am not sure if theres any rpgm similar to PQ with enough content.
You can use the advanced search option in the top right to look for games you might like, and avoid tags you may not like. Or just start a "Seeking" thread to ask for recommendations.

There is a game but abandonned because the devs wanted to make a crappy renpy version of it, removing all the fun there was with the great rpgm version.
