What was tinkerers latest post regarding animation for an existing scene?

He plans to animate existing scenes and asked patrons to vote on whose scene will be first. Choice is Mia, Erevi’s daughter or Hilde.
Last time I checked, Erevi’s daughter had about 80% of the vote.

So I figured out the issue with the animations... Tinkerer created this event to set a variable on button press to stop movies playing if you want to break the loop... Unfortunately, the variable reset doesn't seem to work properly for some reason so as soon as an animation event starts it breaks before looping at all. I tried changing where the variable is reset and got mixed results, and nothing consistently made it work, so eventually I just set it to break the loop on pressing the confirm/OK key (Z).

It's a clunky workaround so you might have to spam the button for a few seconds when you want the loop to break, but it's better than having it not work at all I guess. I only made the changes in the Lain mod version of the events file cuz I couldn't be bothered to reextract a fresh copy. If it doesn't work for you off the Lain mod, sorry. Anyway, just place the file in the data folder and overwrite the original.

Just tried it with the compressed version and it worked, thx man. Hopefully Tinkerer fixes this issue before 2.1.

Update: Spoke too soon. Occasionally the game will still crash but it works most of the time.

Yea, it sucks, but I don't want to do anything too complicated and break the game or something.

A quick solution to the problem with the animations sometimes the screen goes black which a text shows up in order to fix that you must turn off the animations in order to proceed with the choices you want for example once i saved Gwyneth i couldn't escort her to her house because of the animation bug once I turned off the animations i was able to escort her to her house in order to get her pregnant

Can anyone help me - I have a problem with Shakala - despite about 10 times when she was pregnant she still had no daughter - I have all other quests completed, over 235 days in the game. I read in a guide that the chance for a daughter should increase by 16% with each pregnancy - is there any other condition that needs to be met because I'm already running out of patience

Nope, there's no pregnant version of her yet (other NPCs have that problem too) so you will have to wait for that.
